Less than 200 people have tested positive, and only 50 hospitalizations for covid, since march in Ventura, California.

BUT hospitals get a bounty for "COVID" patients- a nurse's sister told me this week that theirs gets $25k per, and $45k if they DIE covid. So they've been told that unless it's a car accident or gun shot, deaths are marked covid. So even these numbers are highly suspect.

Nice to see all these new mandates are for nothing! Cases mean nothing! No hospitalizations and our shit governor is trying to require masks outside the home.

RGV covers a huge area so that 109 # isn't surprising. The area stretches all the way from South Padre Island to McAllen. There's 1.5 million people there, 95% Mexican. They are mostly obese, live with 4 generations in the house, and are generally unhealthy.

And most of the newly hospitalized are from Mexico. Americans living in Mexico, Green Card holders, first responders, and Mexican citizens.

They come across the border for treatment and all the hospitals in the RGV are full. So they are flown to Houston, Amarillo, Corpus Christi, etc.

The ones coming across the CA border are flown to Southern California hospitals.

I think the average was like 3.9 per 100,000 nationwide...

Remember to select display by weekly rate, and overall https://gis.cdc.gov/grasp/COVIDNet/COVID19_3.html
