I try not to judge people based on their economic circumstances. I think most Americans are poor or financially struggling at some point in their lives.
I get the sense that a lot of Conservatives are prejudiced against poor people, thinking that they are lazy or made bad decisions and a lot of Liberals are prejudiced against wealthy people believing they are greedy or exploitative. It's like that part in the Bible where there is a man born blind and the people ask Jesus if the blind man is blind because he sinned or because his parents sinned and Jesus responds that the man is not blind due to any sin but so that the Glory of God may be manifested by Christ restoring his site.
Can agree with that. You hear certain people constantly saying "if you work hard you"ll be successful in America. While America is the land of opportunity, there is no garauntee for anything in life .
I have seen a lot of hard working people who have hit some bad luck, had changes beyond their control ruin their business, or took some calculated risks that did not pay off for them.
America and hard work garauntee you can try. Only G-d can garauntee success.
I get the part about being practical ("be a doer not a dreamer"). But I don't think I agree with staying with a job you hate. What's the point of having a job that you hate?
Do you run a dehumidifier in there? I've been running in to a handful of tiny rust spots on a couple pieces in long term storage, and looking for tips. I got em spick and span again this weekend, but now I'm curious what other people do. Relatively heavy oil coat? Gun sock? Dehumidifier? Dessicants?
Baby Oil! Jk, use pure mineral oil. Slather EVERYTHING in it. Your gun collection should look like something out of a high budget japanese bukkake production finale. Shiny and chrome! Get that in every nook and cranny even where you don't think the light shines. If you have a 1911 or something all steel, fully disassemble it, cover every part in mineral oil, wipe it somewhat clean and reassemble everything.
I had one just like that on my last boat before it sunk
I hope you don't feel like a loser. Most of us lack money at some point in life. That doesn't make us a "loser".

America gives the promise of equal opportunity not equal outcomes
I agree 100%, that is all you can ask for
well said.

I'm not sure why people here use that term so much. I think they like to use terms that they feel are a bit over-censored.
Maybe the angry is an allusion to your username.
Get out of here faggot

What do you guys do?
That ammo is now worth more than the guns.
Huh didn't realize those were dehumidifiers. Just assumed they were florescent or LED light tubes.
They make smaller ones you can put inside your gun safe/locker too. Slicker than snot on a door knob!
I use a dehumidifier

Dryz air is good, which are giant desiccant. Dehumidifier, it kind of depends on how muggy it gets where you live.
Heavy oil and dessicants.
Noice!
That's a lot of "Leave me the fuck alone" in one picture. Great collection, thanks for sharing.
Bow chika bow wow.

What a safe room!
Pro tip: take your ammo out of the cardboard boxes and store it in an ammo can with silica gel desiccant packets to keep the moisture off em
