I want this or the kel tec which is better?

Gunmolester [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

The Kel tec is well...a Kel Tec...mine will give you a double tap with every pump and will keep going until you run out...i can run aguilla short shells too...the DP12 is also made by Connecticut Shotgun who also make high end expensive shotguns The Kel tec is one shot per pump and in a tense situation you will get a CLICK...(Unless you're counting) then you have to flip a switch to keep firing I had a choice and chose wisely...no comparison

Hot damn, didn't even know about DP-12s and was going to buy Kel-Tec KS7.

Where'd you get this one? I've not been able to find any other bullpup shotties except KS7s or the odd Garaysar for sale.

HCQaddict 1 point ago +1 / -0

Isn't the DP more expensive?

2
Gunmolester [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

my dp12 was 999 brand new...you tell me

2
HCQaddict 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, probably go with dp12

Desert_Covfefe 1 point ago +1 / -0

so you get 8 shots? and keltec gives 13? Review: https://www.usacarry.com/review-ksg-dp-12/ Edit: They're both sweet pieces, I think i would favor kel-tec though, its lighter, shorter, cheaper, and can shoot longer before reload

1
keep_america_great 1 point ago +1 / -0

Dp12 is 16 shots

1
Gunmolester [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

No...I get 14+2 with 2 3/4 shells and no interruption in shooting and a double tap each pump...this is superior

I got one third party. I dont think they fit well but it works fine for me. I went 100 rds one time and no welt like the time b4 it without. The discharge and loading port ejecting into my wrist was a design flaw. Another 3rd party deflection shield is necessary for all day shooting. All in all with accessories, i got it lots cheaper than ds12.

I keep getting outbid on Keltecs. Fukkin COVID shutting down gunshows.

How reliable is this weapon? Would definitely like to get one some day.

4
Gunmolester [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

hasn't failed yet..but ive only shot it about 100 times

4
Gulleyfoyleismyname 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not the best pdw especially if it's your first but those look like fun range toys!

2
Gunmolester [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

imagine 6 home invaders staring down those barrels loaded with 16 rds of 00 Buck shot at 9 30cal balls each shell..or 24 rds of aguilla...no not the "Best" but if you have a warning this is very formidable ...its super bad ass

2
LurkNoMore 2 points ago +2 / -0

00 is no joke. Perfect defense round IMO

First rainbow Ive liked in years

1
IvIA6A 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's a good gun. Any of these would be ideal for home defense. So which will it be?

1
Gunmolester [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

my local gunshop Turners....i get their emails and they had 1 day sales which i had to ignore due to money issues...then one day I had to look....ARGH...got it for 999 which is less than a used one at the time

1
friarfox 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's a whole lot different than my Winchester pump 20 gauge but it's pretty for plastic. I just happen to love wood grain, otherwise , gotta love it. What's magazine capacity?

2
Gunmolester [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

mag cap with normal shells is 14 ...i believe 22 with aguilla....but I made some shorter shells and I can get 16+2 with those

1
friarfox 1 point ago +1 / -0

Amazing. Yup that's a self defense Gem for sure.

If it's your first gun you really should get a 22 as shooting that much will set in stone bad trigger habits that will be damned difficult to get rid of once they are there...

6
Gunmolester [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

i have semiauto...single only...double only...single shot...all kinds...none of them give me bad trigger habits...i can also go from stick to automatic cars with ease as well

1
ThomasMaker 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yea, me too(weirdly enough I tend to like single-shots and semi's, the stuff in between is less interesting to me).

I have just seen too many people get into trap/skeet shooting as their intro to shooting and it making them into life long jankomatics that have difficulty hitting anything much past 25-50 yards with a single projectile weapon....

1
Gunmolester [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have every kind of shotgun as well...so i can shoot whatever i feel like
