My experience with Voat was that, while the community is opposed to other kinds of racism, that one is permitted. I found it distasteful and left. I was surprised to see that it still exists since I just moved on and didn't think of them again.

But I'll exercise the same freedom when I say that I think Voat is an great example of the toxicity that happens when people have great freedom without moral self-restraint. All strengths come with inherent vulnerabilities, and devolving into equivalents of Voat is the vulnerability of freedom.

From my recollection, Mrs Clinton flew on a state sponsored to Haiti and landed in the airport right after the big earthquake. This dispute many local warnings that they were not prepared to receive the secretary of state because they were still assessing the damages. She wanted Laura out of there really badly.
I also think Laura is in charge of a missing children's program in the Washington DC area now.
