I underestimated how far they were going to let this go. I was hoping common sense would have prevailed but I'm really starting to think that there are no more grown ups left on the Democrat side. They will gladly let the country burn so long a they get to govern the ashes.

It helps when they can get free lawyers and bail whenever they do get arrested through the National Lawyers Guild.

The National Lawyers Guild may be free for those arrested but the lawyers aren't working for free. George Soros funds their organization. All these Social Justice groups are linked and Soros is the hub.

The National Lawyers Guild was founded in 1937. Soros may be a contributor but the organization has funding besides him.

Lynne Stewart, the famous defense lawyer that helped the Blind Sheikh communicate with his terrorists buddies was a famous member of the NLG. She got 10 years for providing material support to terrorists. Released at about 8 years for compassion as she was dying of breast cancer.

Use the left's own strategy against them - create so many lawsuits for them that they can't possibly sustain it.

What would be the allegations of harm for the lawsuits?

It depends on what all these lawyers are willing to defend. Start with authorities charging everyone involved in illegal behavior (something they aren't doing now). ANTIFA engages in a lot of illegal shit, so that adds up quickly, especially if these lawyers are willing to defend them through the entire process and not just the initial hearings. Even those accidental shootings over the weekend. Surely there is something they could be charged with (e.g. reckless endangerment, causing great bodily harm).

Are they also willing to defend civil cases against ANTIFA/BLM members? Then off the top of my head, there is damage to property, medical expenses incurred by violence by members of ANTIFA, emotional distress caused by witnessing ANTIFA commit violence (like opening fire on motorists). Even those accidental shootings could come into play here. I am guessing those shot don't have a job or health insurance and if they want the medical expenses covered, then should sue the person that shot them. It would be fun to watch how this lawyer's guild would respond here. Would they choose a side, or would they represent both the shooter and the victim?

How would the lawyer be on hook for the crimes of their clients? Lynne Stewart got sent to prison because she committed a crime herself. Maybe a sting operation where they advise someone posing as antifa to commit a crime?
