Great news. I hope he had insurance just in case. Anyone with a CCW permit should.

I don't know much about CCW, but like business insurances not covering riots, are there any small print to be aware of when it comes to CCW insurance?

Hijacking to post video of the police conference about this shooting:

https://youtube.com/watch?v=2Qu8uRUxrbY

According to this, the car driver was calmly driving when he came across a riot. He was stopped by the rioting terrorist crowd and therefore honked at them. He did not try to run them over. Garrett approached the car with his AK47 aimed at the driver (according to some witnesses). Other rioters surrounded the car and began beating on the car. Some witnesses said Garrett tried to open the driver's door.

Naturally fearing for his life (with a commie terrorist's AK47 in his face) the driver then shot five times and killed Garrett (good, one less psychotic commie). The car then drove away. Next, one of the rioters fired 3 shots with a handgun at the car and then one final shot further away.

The car driver called police and told them what happened and they instructed him to turn himself and the gun and car in as evidence.

The rioter who shot at the car also turned himself in.

Garret died (good). The driver and other shooter have been released pending investigation.

There is also video of Garrett saying he was ready to use his AK47 that night. He was a violent, retarded, psychotic, cop-hating soybean commie terrorist. Nothing of value to society was lost. RIP. He's buried in the dirt where he belongs. He will not be missed. Oh and he's now another unfortunate COVID casualty and future Democrat voter. 👌

Yes, it's ~$400/year and they cover all civil/criminal litigation. If you use it just once in your life it's worth it.

There are also cheaper options out there(like ~$15/month) that don't cover multi-states/traveling.

I hope he promptly files suit against Mr. AK's estate and heirs, so he can collect that Gofundme cash. The disabled girlfriend must have known what he was going out to do, making her a co-conspirator in the crime attacking innocent motorists.

True, but he will have to play defense against the liberal Democrat Travis County D.A..:

https://www.traviscountytx.gov/district-attorney/our-office/meet-the-da

Straight out of central casting, with the Karen haircut and the latest designer 'problem glasses.'

On the plus side, it looks like Soros actually backed her opponent in the primary. Not sure if Soros backed her during the general or not:

https://www.austinmonitor.com/stories/2020/07/is-money-going-to-decide-travis-county-races/

In the race for Travis County district attorney, challenger José Garza reported total political contributions of more than $548,000 from Feb. 23-July 4. He had some help in that from a group called the Texas Justice & Public Safety Political Action Committee, as well as the Real Justice PAC out of San Francisco. Other committees helping José Garza include the Workers Defense in Action PAC and the Austin Firefighters Association PAC, both located in Austin.

Philanthropist George Soros contributed $652,000 to the Texas Justice & Public Safety PAC between March 11 and May 29. According to Garza’s opponent, District Attorney Margaret Moore, the PAC spent more than $600,000 on digital media and glossy mail advertisements to help Garza. Moore’s campaign released a blistering attack on those expenditures saying, “The amount of money being poured into the district attorney’s race is alarming and abhorrent. Local elections should be decided by people from this community, free from the crushing influence of outside spending by PACs that are not accountable to this county.”

Garza says this number is incorrect and that his campaign staff have verified that the PAC actually spent $409,000 to help his campaign. They may have spent additional funds to help other candidates, he said.

There exist actual people that call Soros a "philanthropist"?

Im not sure if she looks more like a trans Kurt Douglas or a trans Kurt Russell.

Either way her whole appearance SCREAMS intersectionalist lefty loon.

Yeah she's more of a regular liberal who does her job, not a radical leftist as far as I'm aware:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.statesman.com/news/20190731/in-travis-da-race-margaret-moores-record-on-sexual-assault-cases-takes-center-stage%3ftemplate=ampart

She's being replaced by a radical leftist though

Any idea why she is a quad amputee? Ex-military? Playing around rolling trains?

14
Analmanlebron 14 points ago +14 / -0

From her YouTube, she said she had a septic infection in 2010 that spread and she had to amputate those limbs to save them. She has video with pics of her in the hospital with her family and also the now dead fiancé (he was even more soft/doughy looking then, if you can imagine that).

I have no sympathy for the dead fiancé. He laughed at federal officers going blind from the rioters shining lasers in their eyes and said they deserved it.

me-no-likely 6 points ago +6 / -0

Some kind of rare disease/infection. Body shutdown blood flow, docs had to amputate all the limbs. Went into hospital, came out a Bob.

"Boxing Helena" was a very weird movie.

Is ccw insurance necessary in an open carry state?

3
Ih8leftists 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would give them a call myself, worth a few minutes of your time.

1
Belgian_Rofl 1 point ago +1 / -0

From criminal litigation, maybe not as much, but civil litigation it absolutely would be worth it.

Just my perspective, I carry everyday though, so to me I akin it to driving, I have good coverage for that as well.

2
JS_Mill 2 points ago +2 / -0

For those wondering, it cost around $10-30 per month depending on the company.
