Exactly

But on the plus side, you know where to worship if you're looking for a church.

Never thought this was remotely possible in America. We may need that well regulated militia more than we did in 1776.

It might have to be.

I'm sad about it, but The Republic must survive.

I hope the Pastor lawyers up. This is beyond bullshit, I can't fathom it could stand up in court.

Imagine if we had a union to protect the civil liberties of Americans. Why we could call it the ACLU and they could help sue the State. /s

Screw you ACLU, you hacks, you used to be an admirable organization, now you’re just an arm of the DNC.

ACLU are commies.

This is persecution and will not end well for the commies. Patriots we must RISE UP. They will not stop with churches. They want our heads on a platter. This is the elite cabal vs US(A). Get ready for war my fellow Patriots. TRUMP/PENCE2020 KAG2020

California, Help recall the governor. https://recallgavin2020.com/homepage/

It’d be pretty badass if they said screw you (in a Christian manner, of course) to Gavin Newsome and just went off grid. Do they have a crowdfunding page for a well and generators?

In natural disasters, the military comes in with generators, potable water, and other things to help the citizenry. I wonder what would happen if Trump ordered the military to bring in generators, water tanks and pumps to help the churches weather the political storm. That would be epic. Declare a man made disaster and send in help.

Nice. That would be the best use of tax dollars in years.

When I was in college the National Guard came to town with tankers when something happened to the local water supply. It was kinda fun.

Maybe they should protest and just have the sermon in the street

4
xBigCoffinHunter 4 points ago +4 / -0

Surely some in the congregation have generators

We're already under communism.

Pastor’s full statement here. Very articulate and true. Please read.

When any one of the three institutions exceeds the bounds of its jurisdiction it is the duty of the other institutions to curtail that overreach. Therefore, when any government official issues orders regulating worship (such as bans on singing, caps on attendance, or prohibitions against gatherings and services), he steps outside the legitimate bounds of his God-ordained authority as a civic official and arrogates to himself authority that God expressly grants only to the Lord Jesus Christ

I would argue that civic leaders have NO God “ordained” authority, but I agree with everything else in the statement
