I keep telling people that Floyd died of a drug overdose while resisting arrest. The cops tried to save him - that's why they immobilized him.
However, America is now controlled by racists and racist ideals. Because Floyd was black, the reality is ignored. Even here, people have told me what the cops did was wrong.
We're just up the road from Louisville KY and the Breonna Taylor case (the one that ppl have been screaming "Oh that dear young black woman EMT that got murdered in her sleep cause those nasty cops had the wrong house on the no knock warrant" Um. No. She WAS an EMT at one point but was working as an ER tech at two local hospitals at the time of her death. Cops had the RIGHT address, she and her boyfriend were BOTH awake, and at first that boyfriend told cops SHE was the one who fired, not him. Source for everything I just said here) But it doesn't matter to the protesters, no matter how much you try to show them the proof in the local news articles, they're right and everyone else is wrong. They're screaming for the cops involved in the shooting to be arrested (one has been fired) and rumor has it the investigation by FBI and Attorney general office is wrapping up soon. If those three cops aren't arrested, I fully expect shit to hit the fan here BIG time.
For those unaware, the Minneapolis DA refused for a long time to release the George Floyd body cam video to the public, which really isn't her right. That footage is of extreme public interest and it belongs to the public. Now it's available, but can only be viewed by appointment.
However, some 'Pede out there made a FOIA request to the records department for the written transcript and received the transcript. I heard an unconfirmed report that the employee who fulfilled the request was fired--could not find any information on that.
In the transcript it is overwhelmingly obvious that George is on heavy drugs, and even his friends aren't certain what's up with him. He tells the arresting officers that he was "hooping" - this is when you smuggle drugs up your ass. Due to the enormous amount of Fentanyl found in George's system, it seems that the baggy he was using to hoop may have broken open and allowed the Fentanyl to be absorbed into his large intenstine.
I don't believe anything on Earth could have saved his life.
My current understanding is you can view them only in person and by appointment and I'm in no position to attempt to do that. They absolutely cannot afford those videos going on the internet and being scrutinized by the public, the contents of the transcript make that clear. Combined with the autopsy report, those videos either exonerate the cops, or make clear that George was killed due to bad or failed personal (criminal) business between them.
I thought it was Minnesota DA Keith Ellison himself that was sitting on the tapes. Eliison is scum. He knows damn well Chauvin will walk on murder 2 charges. Everything will come out at a trial, including the tapes they are sitting on. Chauvin walks or at worst gets aggravated assault and the riots start all over again. But Keith Ellison is an admitted Antifa sympathizer so none of this shit surprises me.
well how do you know the knee was placing tons of force on his neck and not gently placed to keep floyd's head down so he wouldn't choke on his vomit? if the knee wasn't his full body weight, why remove it?
This is what I've been saying. They can get manslaughter to stick on the one cop as the guy died in his custody, but that's it. And then that happens, all the black people are going to attempt to burn the suburbs.
I'd to so far as to say the prosecuter who let him off after previous issues shouldn't have, given the circumstances made public of those investigations.
I even thought the toxicology report may have been falsified/floundered when it was reported had 11mg/u of fent(3mg is fatal), and 17mg/u of meth(8-12mg is major hallucination).
But the transcript is clear. The man was begging for help, something about his face hurting, being claustrobic, thinking he was having a heart attack, etc from less than 4 minutes into the transcript. He was already long gone. It's possible a Naloxone intervention could have extended his survival until EMT could arrive - but in not having that, immobilizing him was probably the best move and likely extended his life by minutes.
Also, he asked to lay down before they ever said to do so. He requested it. I don't believe chauvin murdered him. I believe it was a legitimate overdose.
Better have ammo stocked up when the public is informed. Cause if you think this is bad... It's about to get a lot worse.
I actually think narcan would’ve killed him faster. Look at 8-balling (opiates and cocaine), basically you’re pumping the brakes and the gas at the same time. If you pass out, they narcan you which turns off the opiate receptors and you die of the cocaine OD fastlike. I believe River Phoenix died of that iirc.
This is the first I’d heard of his tox screen results OR the hooping, and I’ve been trying to keep an eye out for it.

What Floyd did to himself was wrong.

The family even declined to press charges until May 21st. They know she fucked up. The event happened in March.
Zealots don’t care about proof.
Strange how supposedly he was the one that fired, but she's the one that got shot several times. Very strange.

Did they ever release the bodycam videos?
If not, why aren't we screaming about that?

I keep mixing up Ellison (MN) with Gardner (MO)

They knew he was on drugs and they were telling him to calm down before he had a heart attack. It's very likely the manslaughter charge will stick.
Exactly. But because of the systemic racism in the nation, the four cops are facing murder charges.
Systematic racist is another name for Democrats. Change my mind.
I 100% believe Chauvin could be a shit cop.

Plus if you read the autopsy, you can see he had a few heart problems. Speedballing and heart problems are a death sentence.
Floyd asks to be laid on the ground, says he can’t feel his face, and says he’s probably going to die all before Chauvin puts a knee on him.
This will come out in trial, and no jury will convict on second degree murder to what is most probably a drug overdose.
At least I hope. Although I hope whoever the defence attorney is has good personal security.
Saint Floyd with his Air Jordan’s Eternal is jogging in peace now.
