Used this to purple pill a couple of "Trump's a totalitarian fascist" dipshits I know. They are were left scratching their heads with a "Wait? What?.... Oh... Oh my..."

If you really think anything Trump has done is "totalitarian" then you're very ignorant of history... And not paying attention to what the left hand is doing while being distracted by the shiny object in the right.

What is totalitarian is what's coming if the peaceful rioters and the looters get their way.

Their actions tactics and the stated goals all mirror 3 prior uprisings.

The Bolshevik/October Revolution in which the Bolsheviks and their allies occupied government buildings and other strategic locations in Petrograd, and soon formed a new government with Lenin as its head. This paved the way for the Great Purge. It involved a large-scale repression of wealthy peasants (kulaks); genocidal acts against ethnic minorities; a purge of the Communist Party, government officials, and the Red Army leadership; widespread police surveillance; suspicion of saboteurs; counter-revolutionaries; imprisonment; and arbitrary executions. Estimates of the total number of deaths due to Stalinist repression in 1937–38 are between 680,000 and 1,200,000.

Antifa and BLM are simply the modern "New Bolsheviks" who later like those who agitated for Lenin will be the first group of useful idiots to be tossed aside. You don't need/want agitators running amok once your new ideology has its hands on the levers of power. They're expendable and a liability.

The second historical event being paralleled is the rise of the Sturmabteilung ("the brownshirts"). Its primary purposes were providing protection for Nazi rallies and assemblies, disrupting the meetings of opposing parties, and direct physical intimidation and violence at political opposition and their supporters. Like the useful idiots they were, they too became a liability once their preferred ideology was at the reins of power. Their high profile leaders were eventually eliminated in the Night of the Long Knives.

The third historical event that present actions parallel is the Cultural Revolution of Mao's China. Mao called on the nation’s youth to purge the “impure” elements of Chinese society and revive the revolutionary spirit. (Exactly what is going on today in the US).

Mao shut down the nation’s schools, calling for a massive youth mobilization to take current party leaders to task for their embrace of bourgeois values and lack of revolutionary spirit. In the months that followed, the movement escalated quickly as the students formed paramilitary groups called the Red Guards and attacked and harassed members of China’s elderly and intellectual population. The population was urged to rid itself of the “Four Olds”: Old customs, old culture, old habits, and old ideas.

Some 1.5 million people were killed during the Cultural Revolution, and millions of others suffered imprisonment, seizure of property, torture or general humiliation.

I'd suggest reading The Gulag Archipelago by Solzhenitsyn, but that would require effort and a willingness to have a mind open to ideas that run counter to the prevailing MSM narrative that you've been heavily drinking.

So instead I'll leave you with some wisdom from George Carlin on "The Owners"

"They've long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the State Houses, the City Halls. They got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies so they control just about all the new and information you get to hear."

"They've got you by the balls. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I'll tell you what they don't want. They don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don't want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They're not interested in that. That doesn't help them. That's against their interests."

"It's a big club, and you ain't in it. By the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long. And they tell you what to believe all day long. Beat you over the head in their media, telling you what to believe, what to think, and what to buy."
