You caught a federal case, a felony. Sure, right now you are being arrested and that in itself is high stress, but you will post bail from one of the various bail funds setup by your foreign masters, I mean local NGO's. And you are feeling pretty good about it, I mean you did something bad like arson but hours later you walked free. Pretty damn good, smug even.
But here is how the federal government works. Sooner rather than later your case is going to trickle into the courts, you WILL go to court, your case will be adjudicated and had best pray your judge is sympathetic to your case, unlikely these days, because if they are not you are running face-first into a 9^% conviction rate. So you are going to make a deal. And that will include time.
Welcome to federal prison, you have now really fucked up, but this is the beginning. That felony conviction? It will last far, far longer than your actual sentence. Every job application, every interview, every time you get pulled over, anytime someone so much as googles your name...there it will be, forever.
I have a friend who is a federal prosecutor and he was told to not give plea deals to anyone on riot related charges. The person has to either plead guilty on their own or go to trial and fight the charges. From my understanding the people who actually get charged is because they have video evidence of the crime being committed. How are you going to fight that in court? They literally have smoking gun evidence at that point.

Congratulations, you played yourself.
Conviction rate is like 95%. The feds don't lose very often. They're not going to lose to these fucking Larpers--
I like how some one describe it, "They have the financial resources of the federal government, and you have your last pay check.
Also, fed system doesn't have probation. Only parole.
There's no parole in the federal system. They do have supervised release. 85% of the time.

...and no more voting for you! Praise Kek!
What happens if they skip their court date and don't show up for a trial?
They'll get vanned again!
Warrent for thier arrest is issued. It depends on the individual case as to how hard the feds actually search for them.
