I can't remember if we had to qualify every year or six months with our masks. I am going to with year. MOPP gear sucks. It is hot. The mask sucks, it is hot. The training is a comedy show, mucus pouring out of every pore, people gagging, literally never getting the CS gas out of your uniform for 4 weeks. I did see one bad event while training, but that is another story.
