So many AJ moments to mention but he won me by showing up at the Young Turks panel (at the DNC?) and just standing there with his ‘Clinton Rapist’ shirt on whilst all around him melted down. Shit eating grin on his face the whole time too. That was the incident Jimmy Dore spat on him. Him and Crowder can trigger Cenk Ogre like nothing on earth and for that I love him.

What was the topic of this thread again?

If Joe spoke his mind people would declare him right wing and the left wouldn't listen watch/listen to him. He does a good job of appearing neutral and slipping redpills into conversations. There's already people like Shapiro, Crowder, etc for people who like right wing ideas. I see Joe as the gateway to the right, granted some of his views are liberal but he calls out the lefts bullshit.

47
flashersenpai 47 points ago +52 / -5

He doesn't appear neutral. He is neutral. Because he's a brain damaged pot head who gets lead by the nose by every guest that comes on his show.

30
Smubbs 30 points ago +31 / -1

If you watch enough Joe Rogan, you'll realize he changes his viewpoints to cater to the guest.

22
jive-ass-turkey 22 points ago +23 / -1

Yes, and he isn't even aware of it, IMO. This is the real reason he comes off as so authentic and one of the big reasons why he is so popular.

Hell I liked listening to him until I heard him flip flopping on what he'd said in the past. He doesn't seem to even desire a consistency in his political ideals, but living in LA, I can understand how the guy might come to believe that was normal.

He's politically naive and not educated enough to cut through a lot of the bullshit many of his guests spew. But he also isn't controlled by the DS/NWO and doesn't go down for that evil bullshit either. That ultimately makes him an ally, and not necessarily the enemy, from my perspective at least. But I respect thinking he is the enemy. We need to be cautious.

I think he's going to get more conservative all on his own being in Texas. The only reason he didn't before was due to the constant liberal narrative he was being fed by everyone around him in LA.

As long as his wife and kids aren't able to manipulate his social circle in Texas, I think there is a decent chance this problem will take care of itself.

The dude hangs around hunters and fighters most of the time. Not many blue voters into either of those in Texas.

We need to get him and Elon and make them our number one targets for full conversion now that they've left Soddam.

Having both go full James-Woods-levels of based would cause the internet to explode.

This is the best summation of Joe Rogan I've seen. Seriously, that's it exactly.

11
_molon_labe_ 11 points ago +11 / -0

Joe Rogan said he would vote for Bernie.

https://thefederalist.com/2020/01/30/joe-rogan-said-he-would-probably-vote-for-bernie-the-freakout-showed-why-washington-doesnt-get-new-media/

There are two types of people who will vote for Bernie: full on communists, and people who are extremely ignorant or possibly just idiots.

Bernie says bread lines are good, it means you feed your people. Bernie wanted $35 trillion over 10 years for universal healthcare. Bernie supported the "New Green Deal" which would have been another $35-40 trillion. And let's not even get into whatever his "Free education" plan would have cost.

If Joe isn't a full on communist, then what does that make him?

Joe made his money his way and I respect that. He did it his way and didn't bend to the Hollywood bullshit and he's set for life, but no one should be looking to him for morality or political viewpoints.

3
RedPilledRaven 3 points ago +5 / -2

Exactly. He’s a closet conservative who says he is liberal to appear neutral. The left tries to cancel him. I’ve seen his guests red pill several friends. The Joe haters here need to cut him some slack.

1
RobbStarksHead 1 point ago +2 / -1

The only thing he's conservative on is trannies beating up women and censorship of standup comedy. It's especially apparent lately.

4
RedPilledRaven 4 points ago +4 / -0

He’s pro 2nd amendment, pro free speech, constantly rips on Antifa and the far left, promotes personal responsibility (Jordan Peterson, David Goggins, etc.), trashes Biden (said he’d rather have Trump than Biden as president). YouTube his appearance on Politically Incorrect where he rants against socialism. He’s no Tucker Carlson but he’s not some far leftist ideologue.

Ah yes, that explains why England has remained an overpopulated island backwater for it's entire history while Venezuela is the lap of luxury.

Also, this is disguised leftism: this line of thought leads to a need for eugenics and population restrictions, which inevitably falls to centralized control. It's getting to socialism the long way around.

... Have fun with that, TX.

Texas, i'm so sorry. Nevadan here who's state has been totally cucked within 15 years by Commiefornian locust parasites.

6

He absolutely hates the mayor of LA and Newsom he has said it many times. I’m not saying he won’t vote blue in Texas but he does hate the current elected officials there and has said so on his podcast

3
VoidWanderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

He can hate them all he wants. What matters is if he's going to vote for the exact same type of people and then are shocked when the same things happen.

This is why I have such a hard time trusting anyone that votes for the left. They vote for the same things that they rail against but are too stupid to understand why the things are happening in the first place. They'd stuck a fork into an outlet right after getting back home from the hospital for sticking a fork into an outlet because "it'll be different this time!"

19
lifeisahologram 19 points ago +20 / -1

He doesn’t even get it either. Because he didn’t vote for the current people, he doesn’t feel like he is responsible for what’s happening in California right now.

But what he doesn’t understand is, he and his kind voted for those who helped blaze the trail TO their current destruction. He is part of the slippery slope so to speak, and he is pretending nothing is built upon anything.

Nobody goes from red blooded conservative to full blown communist overnight. California went down that path over years because of illegal aliens and increasingly leftist policticians.

9
Everquest4Life 9 points ago +9 / -0

Word!

He will slide Texas ever-so-slightly left, which in this cucked age we live in now, may be just enough to tilt a few elections blue, allow a few more million illegals in, a few more million diversity hires in the booming tech sector, and voila, all those electoral votes go to the dems and now you have President AOC in 2024.

FightGoodFight 120 points ago +136 / -16

Rogan is going to vote Trump. If he says it out loud, he'll get canceled, but just look at his actions. He's open minded, logical, intelligent. He likes freedom, he likes guns, he likes money and working hard. That's a conservative.

He's said multiple times that he didn't vote for Hillary and isn't voting for Biden.

He's against masks, he's against lockdowns.

He's had numerous people on the right on his podcast and brings them back over and over.

Ben Shapiro was just on last week.

The only way to survive being a celebrity is to pretend to be on their side. That's just a game.

The left hate Rogan because he redpills people. That's what any time I see someone against him, I think they're a left-wing shill.

8
MuadDon 8 points ago +9 / -1

For all we know, Joe shows up to his studio without really thinking of the podcast, pours a whiskey and talks to someone for 3 hours, then goes home to do something else. Just because he has all these people on his show doesn't mean he's at home actively researching everything they talk about. He has 3 jobs, a family, hunts, is committed to exercise, and likes to get high in his sensory deprivation tank. That doesn't leave a lot of time to browse the few corners of the internet that offer a different POV regarding politics, and you really need to be paying attention almost daily to understand the real POV. It's almost guaranteed he doesn't have that time. There are a lot of Americans just like him who haven't spent the time to understand that we're beyond left vs. right politics and are in the middle of a world of propaganda and deceit. I think what many people call "dumb" is him being too busy in life to realize how much shit we're in right now. And yes, there are millions of people like that. It's why propaganda is so scary. I don't even listen to the guy but I think he's a good example of who we still need to win over in this fight. If people had the right info, there's NO way they would support the left.

vote_for_MAGA_2020 16 points ago +21 / -5

Yes let’s look at his actions.

He supports UBI, universal healthcare, said he would vote for Bernie the commie and Tulsi (who isn't much better than a communist). I agree, let’s look at his actions. He won’t vote for Trump and will vote for a bunch of democrats in local Texas elections.

-5
purple_nitrile -5 points ago +5 / -10

He supports UBI

I am down for UBI myself. Nothing wrong with it imo. But for it to work, we remove all funding for social securities and unemployment, schooling, etc and we put it into the UBI. Let the people decide where they want to invest their UBI in. I think my method is too crazy and not many would like it, but hey, I'm not running for president anyway.

5
hoffytown 5 points ago +5 / -0

It doesn't work. There is a huge class of people that would just not work, view the results when a county in canada gave UBI a try. Disastrous. Stupid idea that won't work. Worse than social security.

-2
purple_nitrile -2 points ago +1 / -3

when a county in canada gave UBI a try

The way they did UBI was shit. They had in mind that everyone can have social benefits and eat their cake too. There is no incentive.

My idea of UBI would remove funding from schools, social securities, welfare, medicare, etc. All those government agencies which handle that crap would be gone and would overall save the country money. Not to mention since there is a lot of redundancy in government, giving it to the people would be more efficient. Now that everyone is entitled to this money, you can either spend it on your own welfare, or you can use it to buy food or a place to stay. You have to choose which benefits you think are more important, and then spend it accordingly.

Now you say, "how come I can't get all the benefits?"

You can, you just get a job. lol.

It's probably a bad approach and I would need to see what other problems it would come across against, but it would separate the stupid people from the smart people on how they would invest their UBI. But hey, only the strong/smart would survive, and the stupid who haven't invested in their own health probably won't make it.

1
hoffytown 1 point ago +1 / -0

Go try it in a county in wyoming or something, once you've destroyed the productivity of the community, hopefully you'll wake up.

The idiots (you) who go all in on UBI have absolutely no standing to completely redo our system with something that has only failed each and every time they've tried it on a small scale.

Go back to reddit fag

0
purple_nitrile 0 points ago +1 / -1

you've destroyed the productivity of the community

Basically this method would remove those that aren't productive out of the community.

Like I said in other comments. If they are going to live comfortably at home, then they won't be able to afford schooling, medicare, etc if UBI was used the way I proposed. These neets would be effectively removed from the social safety net since they would rather spend their UBI on on food and housing instead.

It's not like they would have contribute to society in the first place. Let them stay in their cages, while the strong will thrive and remain a productive part of society.

This is why I love Trump. He's basically wants what I want: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2020-07-23/trump-says-parents-should-get-funding-if-public-schools-are-closed-video

Give the funding to the parents instead of school. Parents can use it to feed themselves, but the smart ones know to invest it into the school of their choosing. A small part of the UBI that I dream of.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
0
purple_nitrile 0 points ago +1 / -1

Trump doesn't want UBI. Trump wants to give teacher salaries to the parents because they'll essentially be doing the same job and thus deserve the same pay

It may be his intention, but for myself, I would use the money provided as freedom to choose what I want to do with it, as would everyone else. I don't need the government's involvement in what I should do with the money. The more control I have with my tax payer's dollars, the better I am.

You're making the same fundamental mistake communists make; you overestimate human nature. ...

You think I care about these neets, these moochers surviving? If they are weak, they will remain poor. Only the strong will become rich, and the weak shall die off whether it is from being poor, or dying do to lack of health care. This is a concept fundamental to of social darwinism, which I am a strong supporter of. Unlike what this country is heading to with affirmative action, where people are rewarded based on the color of their skin, this country should reward merit like it once used to. This can be done by scrapping the social services and returning it as money to the people via UBI.

toxic consumer culture

We do have that I'll give you that and it would probably make the situation worse. I would have to think on how to stop that problem. But I am really digging my idea on scrapping all social services and giving it to the people as a form of UBI. I know not many people agree with my views on here or on reddit, but I just want to put it out there. haha

Bingo. You beat me to it. There’s more to vote on than just Presidents. I guarantee that asshole will help put Democrats into smaller offices.

I'd wager that he will start to fawn over Dan Crenshaw. Fits with the theory rather well. OMG he has an eyepatch!! I appreciate his service and respect him for that but he's made some public comments that make him seem like McCain 2.0.

I'm sure that's what he meant, but yeah.

Local elections are way more impactful than presidential elections.

9
clipk0 9 points ago +9 / -0

He endorsed Bernie before he dropped out, is there a video of him "endorsing" or saying he will vote for, Trump?

11
Duuuke 11 points ago +11 / -0

No endorsing or voting. He just said loosely, “I’d rather vote for Trump than Biden.”

33
vote_for_MAGA_2020 33 points ago +33 / -0

I heard he’d rather vote for Trump than for Biden. That’s not a promised vote for Trump.

And lol past presidential elections. He supported commie Bernie and the feckless cunt Tulsi. What liberals mayors and governors and commission era will he vote for?

2
sentient-potato 2 points ago +7 / -5

Why would anyone in this day and age promise, publicly, to vote for Trump?

Of course he won't say so, but he doesn't have to.

22
vote_for_MAGA_2020 22 points ago +23 / -1

He also supports UBI and universal healthcare and stated he would vote for Bernie the commie. Wake up. Rogan is not our side.

4
AllTheWayTrump 4 points ago +5 / -1

I wonder if he supports putting all his wealth in redistribution pool or if he prefers to keep all he's worked for.

3
FreedomCrayon 3 points ago +3 / -0

The question that none of the elites will ever answer/actually do. They don't want their wealth distributed, just all the peons.

2
vote_for_MAGA_2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

Has he done it yet? Lol

2
MAGA_4EVER 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nah, not really.

He's had guests on like Yang and Jordan Peterson who are both advocates for UBI.

I actually liked both of those interviews. But I find Jordan Peterson's take much better.

I still don't support UBI, but I'm just saying that his podcasts are actually pretty cool because he had a variety of viewpoints on them. Some I agree with, some I don't. It's worth a listen sometimes.

1
sentient-potato 1 point ago +1 / -0

He says he supports it. When Bernie pulled out Joe's relief was palpable.

2

3
PROCIsAsshoe 3 points ago +3 / -0

He also has said that he doesn't think that there should be a Presidential office and, that if there has to be one, it should be an AI. Pseudo-intellectual Toe Rogaine.

3
chuckachookah 3 points ago +4 / -1

is the day I'll welcome him as a conservative.

Or just someone that understands the basic civics and the idea of America.

Sadly, I don't expect today's high school student to understand this, but Rogan is 52 years old and he should know the basic fundamentals of the society that has provided him with so many opportunities.

6
lifeisahologram 6 points ago +6 / -0

His endorsement of Trump wasn’t so much an endorsement, but a “I’d vote for Trump before Biden” and he later clarified that statement saying he’d basically vote for anyone before Biden, so it wasn’t really an endorsement for Trump but rather an anti-endorsement for Biden.

He’s still a talking thumb.

24

They talk about themselves non-stop when they have guests. When they get together it’s a tournament of narcism of who can over talk the others about themselves.

28
mintscape 28 points ago +31 / -3

He's a rich leftist that is beyond ignorant, the fool believed we never even went to the moon for years (seriously). He was a Bernout in 2016 and was until Bernie dropped out.

He was a part of the problem that destroyed California, now he will help do the same in Texas, his constant virtue signalling and ass kissing to big tech is also telling.

Sure he said he would vote Trump over Biden but because it is clear Biden is mentally not with it.

The cartoon is right on the money. Fuck Rogan.

4
RagnarD 4 points ago +4 / -0

Fuck Joe Rogan. Been a staunch supporter for the ideals that turned CA into a shit hole. Now that his ideals have come to their logical conclusion he wants to bring them to Texas. He's a plague rat fleeing the sinking ship.

Rogan is a bitch. Go ahead and tell him I said so.

3
trumpizkewl 3 points ago +3 / -0

Many TV shows perfectly encapsulate this phenomenon. "The 100" "Fear the Walking Dead" etc. The protagonists go from society to society sowing resentment, discord, and violence, trashing everything in their wake for 10 seasons.

2
TheStoneOfSisyphus 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't own a TV. But I am aware of these "shows" and have seen bits and pieces of them here and there. And I don't understand the appeal. I prefer old sci-fi from the 70's and 80's, myself.

He's a totally different person in every interview. Talking to IDW poeple: "How do we fix these crazy leftist mobs?" Talking to Jon Stewart: "How do we enact socialism?" Talking to Bill Burr: "Masks are fucking dumb and it's all fear mongering." Talking to someone else: "I was just trying to rile Bill up, I wear masks all day every day."

3
Grond999 3 points ago +4 / -1

Correct. Texas is going blue (see voting trend since the 1980s then compare with the demographic change). BOOM.

3
cucksmasher 3 points ago +3 / -0

Austin is lost already and demographics will continue to change Texas unfortunately. There's a lot of good people in Texas, but the major cities have already turned (or are turning) to liberal shit. Midget Toe Rogan is a flip-flopping fraud. He's not on the "right" at all, if he was, he wouldn't be allowed on youtube and he wouldn't have gotten that Spotify deal. The moment he leaves the plantation, that Spotify deal will disappear and he will be shat on by the hollywood and media. You can see how all over the place and to the left his retarded opinion has gone over the years. He's an ass-kisser and an excuse-maker and he's spoken against the 2nd Amendment despite all of his "I love guns" and hunting bullshit. He also claimed, with a straight face, that it's "all white kids stealing Nikes" on video looting and he's only seen like "4 blacks," that he's seen "hundreds of videos." He's a sodomite cuck midget liar.

2
Tronald_Dump 2 points ago +6 / -4

my theory is Joe Rogan is a conservative/libertarian but wont say it because he knows he will get cancelled. That's why he endorsed Bernie when he knew he had no chance. Notice now he rails against Biden, woke community, SJWs etc and is pro 2nd amendment. He is also pretty pro capitalist although claiming to be pro UBI.

9
pikabu 9 points ago +9 / -0

Sanders really sweet-talked him when he was on. I think him endorsing Bernie was no ploy.

Rogan always leans heavily towards the opinions on whoever he has on his show. It may create some good interviews, but he doesn't come across as very principled.

2
Tronald_Dump 2 points ago +2 / -0

true. even if my theory is correct he's a coward at the very least. I still enjoy his podcasts though

2
pyre2001 2 points ago +2 / -0

Joe endorsed him but sanders had to retract his endorsement because he's too right wing or something.

2
cucksmasher 2 points ago +2 / -0

He's more likely controlled opposition and his mask slips here and there. He's not pro 2nd amendment, his "I love guns/I hunt" shit is bullshit. He's spoken out against the 2nd amendment, agreeing with red-flag laws and others, on video when he interviewed MMA fighter Chael Sonnen. He's not on our "side" at all.

2
Block_Helen 2 points ago +2 / -0

Since he's coming to my town I feel like I should have an opinion but I can't make up my mind. Most of the time he seems kinda dumb to me. But he lets his guests talk, and seems to be pretty good at allowing them to shine. My husband is a fan and thinks he's pretending to be neutral but really isn't.

I don't need any more leftists coming to Texas.
