Branch Covidians trying to meet their daily woke social media points quota

I am dead serious when I say that social credit scores will be partly based on how many non-compliant citizens one reports to the Ministry per day.

"Branch Covidians" - LOVE IT!!!!

This place rocks!!

When they say: "You should be wearing a mask!"

You then say: "I should be wearing underwear too, yet here we are."

Makes their brains stop and go crazy so it shuts a Karen up just long enough for you to walk away.

Ive actually been waiting for the Karens but I think I get excited prematurely and they realize Im fixing to tell them to go fuck themselves Rex Grossman style.

I wish that was the only thing ruined by premature excitement...

You and me both. Initially I chalked it up to being 6'3", 280#s, and a beard but I'm beginning to think it has more to do with my non-verbals.

Those people want their social credit but don't want to fuck with someone that will give as good as they get.

They want to pressure the ones that are impressionable.

I figure it is still just a matter of time.

When it does happen to us, it'll likely be by a pair or someone up on a particularly high horse that day I'd wager. They'll be emboldened by an enabler and think it increases their chances of you retreating, because it would if the roles were reversed, and engage with you. I just wish I was there when they get to find out.

I live in a small town in southern New Mexico and since the initial post they dont care anymore. They ask me if i have a mask when I walk in and I show them the one in my hand and walk by as they smile.

Everyone is tired of it down here

The correct plural of Karens is a "privilege"

You saw a privilege of Karens

I was refused service by Chipotle for not wearing one due to Medical. Big companies are afraid of lawsuits now. That’s what’s coming from all these confrontations. They are more afraid of lawyers than our politicians.

We had a security guard at the Dollar Store or Family Dollar, I can't remember which, that pressed a woman so hard to wear a mask that she went home to tell her man and he rolled in to the store and shot the security guard dead.

Not saying you should shoot someone over something like that but I am not surprised it happened.

Ive only seen videos of the opposite. People threatening, harrassing and assaulting people for not wearing masks.

Walmart still gave like a billion dollars or some ridiculous amount to BLM. Don't shop there if you can avoid it

23
sneedwt 23 points ago +23 / -0

When I heard about the walmart mandate, I simply started shopping at foodlion. I don't get harassment there.

Fourtyandfourtyfive 18 points ago +18 / -0

Haven’t stopped shopping at wallyworld.

Haven’t worn a mask ever.

Only asked outside once two weeks ago, wasn’t asked last week.

Get some side eye action inside but no mouth. Ironically the looks are from mask wearers whom are not wearing properly.

I always keep repeating "i can't hear/understand you" until they take off their mask or leave my zone

lifeisahologram 4 points ago +5 / -1

What state do you live in?

1
Fourtyandfourtyfive 1 point ago +1 / -0

Alabama.

Damn shame DC insiders got to Gov. Ivy a couple weeks ago. Not counting Birmingham, the state was mostly opened back up and was returning to normal.

Now things are to a crawl, mask warning signs on all doors, restaurants back to 50% but still no one will enforce the mask ordinance.

Most wear out of fear/don’t want to be hassled.

To me it’s the mark of the beast.

I asked the lady at the front door if they sold masks inside and she told me where they had them so I said thank you and went inside. She was a nice lady

That's exactly what I did. I liked going to our Walmart Express, because it was cheap, and I could self checkout - in & out really quick. But because they went all mask nazi last week, I quit them, and started going back to our local Food Lion. I went there this morning, and not counting the employees, probably saw just as many maskers, as non-maskers.

When I got there, and started walking through the parking lot, I saw an older guy get out of his car, he started reaching in his pocket like he was going to put on a mask, then he saw me just walking straight in. I saw him later on in the store, and he wasn't wearing a mask.

I like going to places like this, and seeing other people not wearing masks. When we make eye contact, I just give a nod, like "hello, fellow non-masker!"

Walmart is anti American. Every Walmart job costs 1.5 jobs in the local community.

Woohan 14 points ago +14 / -0

No problems in CVS this weekend. They couldn't have been nicer. Remember, many mask wearers have been scared into submission by muh rules and muh policies. When they see us without masks, it will embolden them.

Remember, this crap is not about the virus. It's about November.

2
Tip-O-Matic 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly. The only person to give me grief about not wearing a mask, is my wife. She's based, but she doesn't want to get in trouble, and she thinks I'm going to cause a big scene if someone tells me to wear a mask. I told her that if an employee of the store/restaurant asks me to put on a mask, I'll say no, and politely leave - no scene.

Whenever I go out to eat with her and one or both of my daughters, I'm prepared to leave, and either sit in the car while they eat, or go get something to eat in the car while they eat in the restaurant.

So far, not one store or restaurant around here where we live has said anything to me.

It's funny, I have a similar situation but with my husband. He's not bothered either way about wearing a mask. I've chosen either to not go, or to just not wear a mask. Today I was at a Korean spa where there were signs EVERYWHERE saying a mask was required. I didn't have one. An employee told me no worries, happily checked me in, and told me to have a great day.

First thing to comment back on the name calling karens, if possible, is to call them out for not wearing glasses because the virus can be transmitted through the eyes. Then walk away.

Rattler1775 7 points ago +7 / -0

Nice.

Still going to avoid these places as long as I can. Most of us just want to be left alone, get our shopping done and get out.

I went to Lowe’s this weekend. Walked right in and headed to the department I needed to be in. There were a few others without masks but nobody stopped me and told me I had to wear a mask. Fuck em. I’m not wearing a mask.

Tenpat 2 points ago +2 / -0

I got a Trump 2020 mask and wear that. Might as well piss off some liberals if I am forced to wear a mask.

The comments on the article go from people being fed up to cats making alcoholic drinks. Gotta love the internet.
