Giving someone, who has a religion that is fundamentally incompatible with your own, the keys to your place of worship is just beyond my understanding. Europe deserves everything that is happening to them right now.

The people who gave him the keys are either naive or evil.

They think if you are nice enough to people like the arsonist, they will suddenly change and become a functioning, positive member of society. It's naivety at its finest.
