And I am glad that I made the decision. Look I might be liberal in some viewpoints, and definitely not that far left as some ANTIFA people. I want an America where everyone prospers. Joe Biden has been involved for 48 years in politics and did everything to make our lives harder. I always thought Trump was a bad guy, but then I researched what great accomplishments he has. He has done so much for the people, especially for minorities, like criminal justice reform or improving the job market. Then after I read that Trump signed four executive orders lowering drug costs, I finally decided to vote for Trump. Healthcare is a very important topic to me, and Obama and the Democrats have failed to pass legislation to lower healthcare costs. He also mandated making hospital prices public, which will also lower healthcare costs. I also admire that he helped pass the Stimulus Checks, which the Democrats opposed. I might not agree with Trump in everything, but I also dislike the socialist attitude Bernie has. I have voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012, did not vote in 2016 and I will proudly vote for Trump this November. I know that New Jersey will be blue, but at least I have shown my own real opinion. Thedonald.win has helped me highlight the great accomplishments of Trump. Glad to be on the Trump Train!

My advice: don't be fooled again. 4 years from now, another shiny thing (politician) will come by and promise hope and change.

Don't be fooled again!

That goes for everyone!!

Most of us knew what Hope and Change meant.

Oh when I said Hope and Change, I wasn't talking about just 0bama... I think many saw right though him!

I mean conservatives that get fooled by RINOs, Uniparty and Globalists.

Mitt Romney is an extreme example, but back in 2012 he was a "viable" alternative to 0bama.

But in general, I always say that politicians will SAY and DO anything to get in power... And to stay in power.

We all know that POTUS Trump is unlike any politician of modern times. He's not even a politician!

He is a businessman who out everything on the line for his country.

That's why I trust him.

https://youtu.be/305-erOr3jk

I know WE all get it... But 4 years from now, they'll push someone else on us; someone already controlled. Maybe someone on Epstein's flight log. Someone with millions in donations from banks and big tech.

And they will say all the right things. They'll even invoke Trump; claiming they always supported Trump.

Many people WILL be fooled, as usual!

😬😔🙄

Honestly yes and no. I feel there was enough info out that people should have been able to find out. However, when one isn't specifically looking for the info, it was pretty easy for one to skate past it. Almost everyone I know personally is liberal, and I live near Portland, so a lot of people near me are. I'll admit that until the last maybe 6 months I was totally against Trump, and it took the Coronavirus and ongoing craziness for me to realize what was going on. Ever since realizing, I am 100% onboard, and have been trying to get those close to me to see him as anything other than literally the devil.

Holy shit. So this post reminded me of the song Won't Get Fooled Again by the Who (1971,) and my gosh the lyrics are relevant to 2020 politics...

https://genius.com/The-who-wont-get-fooled-again-lyrics

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a vow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
And I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie

Welcome! I campaigned for Bernie in 2015. When the BLM women took his mic from him on stage and started screaming, I was very angry. I thought Bernie was passionate and strong, but he came across as spineless.....and then he endorsed Hillary and I was out. Didn't vote in 2016, but I'll be voting Trump 2020 ;)

26
LArnix 26 points ago +26 / -0

Are we the same person? I didnt campain for him but had his sign in my yard. The mic moment was when I stopped supporting him and I didnt vote in 2016 either but by mid 2017 I was fully aboard!

There are tons from 2016. They were mad the DNC screwed them over and seen how spineless Bernie was.

I thought the same, that he was bending over backwards to crazy SJWs and the establishment. Now I know that he was on board with the insane left the whole time. No thanks, I’d rather MAGA! 👌🏻

I used to be a Bernie supporter but since they wanted Brain Dead Biden - perfect representation of their party, by the way - and after seeing the anti-white racism, I realize supporting that side was a huge mistake on my part. Trump 2020. This must be stopped. I don't see a single conservative doing what these lawless animals are doing on the streets.

Hospital prices are basically set at whatever they want to set them at. I'm glad Trump is going to make that shit public so people can see how ridiculous it is.

I had an incident in 2012 in which I had to stay in the hospital for a couple days. Unfortunately at that time, I did not have health insurance so I got to see the final bill for the 2 day stay. It was somewhere in the vicinity of $22,000

deleted 9 points ago +9 / -0
5
Keep_on_Trumpin 5 points ago +5 / -0

I actually ended up transferring out of that hospital and staying in a different one for an additional 5 days. Luckily I didn't even see that bill because I was able to get health insurance and retrofit the hospital stay in it

4
josip1995 [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Ouch did you have to pay the 22,000 dollars. Or could you have applied for financial assistance/charity care from the hospital?

4
Keep_on_Trumpin 4 points ago +4 / -0

I ended up getting the retroactive insurance which covered that cost. I got charity for the other hospital and had some private fundraisers and such to pay the rest.

10
grassshrimp 10 points ago +10 / -0

I'm glad you are here. I'm also in NJ. Please convince as many family and friends to vote for President Trump, you've outlined some good reasons. Some of mine is to get out of the ME region and get our soldiers home, another for me is border security and a strong law and order platform as well as lower tax rates.

You never know, if Rasmussan polls are close to accurate, and President Trump can pull close to 40% of the Black vote, NJ could well be in play. It's an opportunity for us to turn NJ red - how amazing would that be?

8
josip1995 [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

Oh man this would be a dream, I live in Bergen County and this area has already voted for Trump by 40%. It would be really great if we could at least have a red Bergen County.

5
fluffmiceter 5 points ago +5 / -0

Hey! I am a Bergen County pede too. It's really hard to be vocal around here because there are definitely some extremely aggressive far-left types around here. I'm never going to play by their rules and pretend to be them, but I don't feel comfortable wearing a red hat either. A lot of people are pretty apolitical though, so my most important duty is to keep people in the loop about what's happening locally or nationally (not in a reactionary, outrage mob way of course, but more just giving people some pointers on things to look up or read into on their own)

9
DeafMute 9 points ago +9 / -0

Welcome aboard. I think a lot of former Bernie and Yang supporters are in the same boat and will be voting for Trump this time. A large portion of them are not committed socialists, but disaffected bystanders who feel failed by the system. Trump is an authentic populist who is delivering for the little guy and standing up for American values, which is why the Uniparty hates him.

8
TheMAGAnificent 8 points ago +8 / -0

Posted his before, but grab a cup of covfefe and read through:

You'll find a lot of us are former Dems. There's an entire movement #WalkAway about people like us.

In fact, I still hold democratic values: affordable and efficient healthcare for all, prison reform, no involvement in endless or unecesary wars, regulation over corporations that prevent abuse of the environment or corruption in government, etc. Ironically, it took a "Republican" President to push these "democratic" values. I'm learning that these aren't red or blue values, they are AMERICAN values.

That said, until the party completely cleans house and replaces itself with sane, non corrupt people, I will never vote Dem again.

Doesn't mean I'll vote traditional Republican. I will only vote for those who further the Trump agenda. And after 2024 when he leaves, I'll only vote for the one who fights to keep his agenda, which is most likely Cruz or the Wonderwoman from South Dakota, Kristi Noem.

Great Comment! Always love to hear liberals voting for Trump.... While I eat dinner here, I had a few thoughts on your comment.

Affordable healthcre for all just means geting government out of the health care business. It used to be only a very, very wealth person could afford a computer in their home, or a cell phone in the car.... Healthcare costs are out of control, in large part because of 55+ yrs of Medicare and medicaid. Just because a Canadian gets an MRI and has major surgery done (usually with a long wait) and only pays a $250 co-pay doesn't mean it doesn't cost a fortune for somebody down the road. It's does and it will.

The free markets work in the peoples favor. in the long run capitalism improves the human condition. Unfortunately a lot of people have been dupped into the get something for nothing socialist utopia scheme. That's is not how nature works and there is no system that will allow you to get around this fact. Someone pays, they always do, and it's pretty shitty to expect someone else to pay for your way in this life. Food, water healthcare, cellphones, transportation are all necessities, essential in life and none of them are rights nor should they be guaranteed.

Requiring government to regulate coperations to prevent environmental abuse or corruption in government just doesn't hold water. Thay already have tens of thousands of regulations on the books. Why do liberals require more and more government control and less individual freedom? Trying so hard to fix the problem of too much government with yet more government. No, the solution is to take away the governments main source of income, power. Take away the power from government means the people are "free to choose" Milton Friedman.

By separating corporation from the people this has allowed governments to regulate the hell outta Americans via proxy. In the liberals mind they are not people, But rather greedy entities looking to take advantage of us all and destroy the planet. The reality is, this way of thinking allows for rule by monopoly. Corperations are groups of people who form legal entities in order to pool resources and limit legal liabilities. Man is competitive, and the concentration of force within government hands allows the control mechanics to shift from the peoples freedom to choice and ultimate control of its society to the quasi government/coperate marriage and the rule from a distance or command via proxie condition we now find ourselves.

Government has but one service for sale and that is brute force. The liberal way of thinking is that the government can be tamed and/or trained to act as a force for the good of the people. Reality and history have yet to bare those fruits and the human condition makes that an impossible assurtion.

My biggest problem with Bernie is that he is spineless

Remember when those BLM women took his microphone from him and he just stood there letting them rant nonsense? That set a bad precedent.

Bernie actually used to have a lot of really good things to say about how mass migration was lowering the wages of American workers. But then he caved to the abolish ICE lunatics.

Only way to beat it is to overwhelmly vote. I think they tried in 2016 but didnt compensate enough with the cheating votes. Thats why all these recent elections dont get called days and then poof, a new winner is annouced.

You would be surprised how many Bernie and Yang supporters are now pedes. What happened to their campaigns red pilled a lot of people. In 2016 a lot of Bernie voters came out in support of Trump after what the Dems did to him.

I don’t agree with Bernie or Yang either. But look at the big picture, most of their supporter base just wanted what they thought were good things for the country and they did not hate America, quite the opposite. They just wanted to make her better, even if their views were not correct, their intentions were. It makes sense for them to belong to MAGA. Hell im a former Obama voter, who was way worse than Bernie or Yang could ever be.

Thing is there's two kinds of people. There's the Bernouts/Yang Bangers who got burned by the DNC and want to spit in their eye. Then there's the people who grew up and realized socialism is dumb. The danger is that the first kind with their "so I like Trump.....but wouldn't UBI be awesome!" kind dilute our platform.

'Conservatives' know that the individual is the core of everything good - as scary as it feels to be willing to stand alone.

Leftists prey on this fear and sell 'the collective' as comfort and group force-for-change. What smart leftists learn over time is that 'collective' wins do nothing to change their individual daily life for the good.

Conservatives have faith they will never be 'the only one' who believes the individual is the core of everything good. After all, when those masks drop down from the overhead compartment... you've got to put yours on BEFORE you can help someone else.

boost themselves through hard work

Not if a robot can do it better. Or the chinese. Check out the documentary "American Factory". I dunno how we're going to compete with them when they don't even want weekends lol. It's a different way of life.

I think a UBI would help invigorate small town America by keeping money flowing into these places rather than just silicon valley. And somewhat protect against the effects of automation.

If I was a factory, farm, or business, owner, I definitely wouldn't want to hire humans if I could use a robot instead. Plus on a large scale it would make America more productive with less labour and enhance the quality of living, like the tractor did. Restricting the use of such tech to support human labour would be anti-capitalist and handicap America's productivity and progress against other economies. But without workers you have no customers. UBI sort of helps keep capitalism alive through the development of this technology.

deleted 3 points ago +3 / -0
1
syt2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, it didn't happen with the tractor or the car or office computer, etc. But those are all tools. This time we're not automating tools, we're automating minds.

Low skill, low pay jobs that require non-repetitive physical tasks might actually be the last to go due to the physical dexterity needed. Those and Trades where the job is different every time. ie. HVAC. A lot of middle class jobs are susceptible to this though. Factories, truck driving, etc. As you said, on the low skill end, If you walk into McDonald's you already see self order kiosks. Amazon's cashier-less store. These are good innovations for consumers that I support, but those people gotta work somewhere.

Elon musk did have trouble making his Model 3 line be highly automated so that's a point in your favour. But I don't think this future is far away.

Joe Biden and politicians of his kind are the worst kinds of folk. All they want to do is create more bureaucracy so things will be harder and harder to actually change. It will look like they're spinning their wheels so hard but actually they're just running in place. That's what they want though. Give the illusion there is change but in reality they're just busy enriching themselves and keeping the status quo

The price transparency for the healthcare/hospital industry is a game changer for healthcare prices. If any other president did it, it would have been at least a two week news cycle. If it was Obama it would have been a 6 month cycle. Because it was Trump, barely anyone heard about it, even alot of trump supporters don't know the significance.
