I got a twitter poll in my inbox. Haven't used twitter in several months. They're asking people if they'd want to do paid subscriptions to unlock additional features including demographic ad targeting. I don't have a problem with that. I took the poll. At the very end, I told them that I won't use twitter unless they start doing something about "communist hate speech." If they want hate speech to exist, let it apply to communist rhetoric. I compared it to rape-culture where people joking online about rape leads to women feeling unsafe on the streets. Well, endlessly talking about communism on twitter has led to arsons, assaults, murders, looting, and billions in damages. Everything they say about others applies 10x more to them. It's like being in an abusive relationship where the in-laws, grandparents, and siblings ALL live with you, and everyone gangs up on you 24/7. Fuck them all.
