These things aren't mutually exclusive, broski. He did "get what he deserved," but it's also sad to see a fellow citizen so brainwashed that he would act against all logic/self-interest and behave that way.

I admire your humanity, but I think people who want to destroy civilized society are inherently evil. People have to take responsibility for their own actions.

And if you're brainwashed to believe that the society you're destroying is evil?... That's what OP is saying. For the most part, we're dealing with brainwashed sheep, not people who have thought deeply about the merits of various political structures and have chosen communism.

Evil can be enacted by the hands of the ignorant and the blind. It's used to be called demon possession.

Damage is damage, whether the intention is there or not. That's why we have laws specifically for involuntary manslaughter. That's why we have laws specifically for negligent discharge of firearms. Because ignorance kills.

I tend to agree with you here. I partake in the jokes, too, but ultimately I'm pretty frustrated and sad that people are being so easily manipulated. The humor is juat kind of an outlet for that.
