You have to be careful. For one, medical studies can and often do conflict. We've all seen the contradictory studies about HCQ.
Second, that AP page says "Multiple experts told The Associated Press there is no medical evidence that wearing a face mask could lead to pleurisy." So that's them saying they just talked to a bunch of nameless doctors. That's a pretty sketchy citation if you asked me.
Anyway, just want to make sure you know that information isn't always as straightforward (or honest) as it may appear to be.
I literally read medical studies as my job. I'm very well aware.
The medical community has FAILED to take studies proving mask efficiency effective. They had a habit of taking it for granted since we're been wearing masks for protection for hundreds of years.
That said, there are NO medical studies showing subjects contracting pleurisy from wearing facemasks. None.
I know the story is unconfirmed, but you actually trust the Associated Press?
Not particularly - I do trust my medical studies, though.
