Comedian Adam Carolla tells the story on his podcast how when he was a contractor in LA he had his truck stolen so many times he finally just installed a hidden kill switch to the fuel pump. It was carbureted so there’d be enough gas in the float bowl to start it and drive a few hundred yards and that was it. He would walk around a few blocks if it wasn’t outside in the morning and find it parked on a nearby street. Can you imagine?
I'm reminded of the episode of Top Gear where they drove through Alabama with cars spray painted with slogans like "country music is rubbish" and "Hillary Clinton for President". In any case, I am impressed with this man and his truck!
