I had a friend take me to Reasors at 15th & Lewis in Tulsa. OK. (a local grocery chain) because I totally ran out of food.
I'm disabled & really can't wear a mask because of my medical issue & I figured they would give my friend a mask since he ran out earlier.
Halfway through shopping I see security approach my friend and start jumping him about the mask - Then the guard says to him:
"THIS ISN'T AN INDIAN RESERVATION - SO GET OUT OF HERE!!!"
(were both Native American Indian)
Racist motherfuckers...
A few minutes later the guard approaches me in line and asks where my mask is?
I explained that I have a serious health issue that prevents me from wearing one - and he asks "YEAH WHAT MEDICAL ISSUE DO YOU HAVE???"
I looked at him - and asked "Are you SURE you want to go there??"
He says "Never mind.." and walked away.
FUCK THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS..
I am so sorry that happened to you. People have no clue what they are trying to enforce. Glad you knew your rights and were brave enough to stand up for yourself.
Per HIPAA you don’t have to disclose any health condition to anyone. Glad you stood up to them

And that guard was an asshole. If you feel so inclined, take advantage of the current Cancel Culture and get him fired. No one in a position of authority should be acting that way.
Sounds like an asshole on a power trip. I would not assert he said what he said out of racism. He probably said it to hurt your feelings hoping it would make you leave. Its ignorant - but I hate when "racism" becomes the flag everyone labels people with when they are just assholes on a power trip. He might be a racist. But I bet he is just a dickhead with a sad life and no real power. This one thing is where he has power and a purpose. You defied his life purpose as a professional guardian of Jackfruit and asparagus. He wanted to lash out any way he could.
You SHOULD have gotten the manager involved and BLM'd it up. If the guard was a white guy you could pull the whole "YOUR ANCESTORS STOLE THIS LAND" thing and get some free stuff out of the deal :)

Well that sucks. I don't get it when people act like that. There is a lot of fear in that from the guy. But as a Christian I would recommend not assuming its part of his soul - and maybe its just part of his mood that day. If it was me - I would have talked to him about why he thinks he should say something like that.
I go to BLM rallies and get called a racist and Nazi all the time. I don't just assume these people are evil but I know they don't know me so I try to tall to them about it. I got some radicals redpilled by talking to them and introducing them to Thomas Sowell and Booker T Washington. So many people don't know that the Republican party was always and still remains the party opposed to slavery.

I'm sorry that happened to you. It's crazy how ppl are about masks. Not sure if you have Kroger in OK, but I've been using their Click and Collect on their website. It's Free the next day. It's so much easier than having to deal with the maskers. Just a suggestion. Hope you got some food and able to relax after all that.
