Yesterday, an anon posted a photo, "D-Day +1". It was a photograph of the Normandy beach head, with dozens of dead GIs lying under white sheets with their gaitered boots sticking out. His title was something like, "THIS is why you don't kneel for our flag!" I'm never going to forget that photo, or how right the OP is.
