After reading through the article and the graphics, it's clear as day. You can see each of those tactics in use quite easily. Very obvious. And it works!

As I watched several protests over the last few weeks, I remember thinking how histrionic, over the top, and ridiculous the rioters reactions were when they taunted LEOs and then finally got arrested. They screamed like they're being tortured and then physically resisted so the officers would have to drag them away.

It's all political protest theater.
