If HCQ treatments were going to kill you and the president endorsed it, the left would let you take it and die, just so they could pin it on the president. The left is extremely opportunistic and the way the weild the media has proven this. People pop pain meds and OD like they are going out of style, I don't see anyone really being restricted on that shit. And that's prescribed based on a patient's subjective perception of pain. HCQ is fucking generally safe and objectively prescribed, you know, by doctors who practice medicine.
It's utter bullshit, the bureaucracy that is involved on this. These fucking liberal shithole politicians who represent fucking drug riddled shitholes aren't concerned with the illicit drug use, that claims lives daily, but want you to die taking a drug that's probably as safe to take as acetaminophen or ibuprofen? Or do you want to be treated by what an elected politician, who knows fuck all about practicing medicine, essentially treating you by extension?

Seriously. At this point, it's no longer about States Rights. As much as I respect Trump in trying to let the states "do as they do", the federal government needs to step in if states are using this plandemic to suppress our rights.

Trump, compared to FDR and every president post Great Depression has been the first president where he's been trying to limit overreach of the federal government, cutting federal power and letting states do as they please. However, while i do feel like that states should have the power to address their own issues, the problem is that while I respect Trump for wanting to let states do as they do, one thing I will criticize Trump over is how he's willing to stick by this at the extent of the people living in the states. I get that if Trump sends in federal troops, then the media will criticize him for being a dictator, but the thing is that the media will always criticize him no matter what. I also get that if the democrats fail, then Trump can balme them for their incompetence, but my point is that none of this would have been necessary if Trump was a bit more forceful at this time. I respect that he respects the governer's right to rule, but the problem arises when state governers use the crisis to suppress rights, as seen with the COVID-Plandemic. That's the main issue with Trump, and I feel like this is his greatest weakness in 2020: He's too nice. He's willing to put up with this to keep up with his ideals, but there is a time when such ideals will bite him, and I feel that this is the one issue that Trump needs to say "I am pro-state rights, but enough is enough". If Trump was president in a less politically divisive time, he would be a perfect president, but now is not the time to hold such ideals when the opposition is blatantly using this to subvert American values.
In this case, I see it as both.
Trump is sticking to his ideals, but the benefits of blaming the democrats for their failure and using this as political ammunition is also there.
However, what I am genuinely worried about is what if this effect would show the opposite in that it makes Trump look weaker. I know Trump has a plan, but the thing is that while I respect the man, I feel like there needs to be a balance. Federal government needs to be above state government, in terms of matters such as upholding the constitution or clear-cut federal only matters such as border security or leading the country for foreign diplomacy...
It's hard to balance, as too much federal power = mass abuse, while too little federal oversight and we have states blatantly disregarding the constitution.
He let's them demonstrate to the voters how bad these local politicians are.. mayors. Commissioner and governors. We put them in power and now want to cry to the feds to bail us out. Very socialistic.
How else would we see the corruption. We voted these Jerks in and now we suffer. It was a self inflicted wound and most just run straight to the federal trough for help.
