This is patently false. Actual fake news. The FDA does not have enough evidence to say anything isn't an effective treatment for COVID-19. Breitbart should sue since they're trending with that BS.

Nah they say it explicitly here. They say that they canceled authorization outside of studies after a study showed no benefit.

June 15, 2020 Update: Based on ongoing analysis and emerging scientific data, FDA has revoked the emergency use authorization (EUA) to use hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine to treat COVID-19 in certain hospitalized patients when a clinical trial is unavailable or participation is not feasible. We made this determination based on recent results from a large, randomized clinical trial in hospitalized patients that found these medicines showed no benefit for decreasing the likelihood of death or speeding recovery. This outcome was consistent with other new data, including those showing the suggested dosing for these medicines are unlikely to kill or inhibit the virus that causes COVID-19. As a result, we determined that the legal criteria for the EUA are no longer met. Please refer to the Revocation of the EUA Letter and FAQs on the Revocation of the EUA for Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate and Chloroquine Phosphate for more information.

This needs clarification...

First: Does their "ongoing analysis and and emerging data" pertain to the use of JUST hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine OR hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine PLUS zinc and/or Z-Pac? Big difference. I don't think anybody is claiming that JUST HCQ or CQ works alone. ...And BTW, this is exactly the kind of con the dems like to pull, lying by omission.

Second: "showed no benefit for decreasing the likelihood of death or speeding recovery" OK, show me data on when the drugs were given to patients. Were they taken early on, which has been effective when combined with zinc and/or Z-pac or where they taken 2,3,4,5 weeks after infection, where it doesn't work so well? it makes a difference.

Third: "This outcome was consistent with other new data" Oh yeah, what data? The completely made up studies that the media and other dems are pushing? I see a lot of studies out there that talk about HCQ and CQ being used with or without other drugs and yes, many of them come to the conclusion that it doesn't work very well. But you know what? NONE of those are about the HCQ and zinc and or Z-pac. Interesting....

Fourth: Given the sheer amount of fuckery going on can we even trust any of this data at all?

Fifth: I see a lot studies questioning the safety of HCQ. Really? Tens of Millions of people take it every year for various reasons and they question the safety of it NOW? I'm calling bullshit.

Doctors can ignore the FDA and just issue things off label. The EUA just made it okay to do whilst being protected from lawsuits. The FDA has approved dozens of medicines in a specific form like tablets but not in capsule form. But your doctor can still give you a capsule.

Long as YOU and YOUR DOCTOR are clear on it's use, the reason for prescription and what the side effects are the FDA can smoke a fat one.

FDA cautions against use of hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine for COVID-19 outside of the hospital setting or a clinical trial due to risk of heart rhythm problems

The study they are citing was that retracted pile of trash from the Lancet mind you. In their own report it uses 100 AE (adverse events) to pretend it's a massive problem.

a) that statement from the FDA is only in relation to a subpopulation (hospitalized patients) so should be interpreted for what it is. b) it doesn't say what twitter said. Twitter reworded it to be misleading (or might have misinterpreted it because they're not health professionals so shouldnt be in the business of editorializing) c) unfortunately the FDA did not cite the study they referenced for that opinion and I'm too lazy to search for it

I wonder when people will start suing Twitter, and other media platforms for contributing to the death of their loved ones.

The FDA approves useless drugs all the time. They literally approved an anti-depressant as "female viagra" which was tested exclusively in male test subjects and improved "positive sexual encounters per month" by 1.

They allowed this drug to be sold because feminist lobbied for its approval. No other reason. The science behind it is bunk. The method by which they claim it functions is bunk. The effect as demonstrated in MALE SUBJECTS is barely registrable.

Yet the FDA approved it... why? Because it's a pile of shit that just takes lobby money.

Well then. It sounds like those rumors that Monsanto & other high stake dictators of the deep state are, & have been, running that farce of an agency for a long time.

The continued conspiracy fact that comes out due to the Lefts escapade astounds me.

They are in full panic mode because it was a black doctor from Nigeria who has had experience with the drug. Then going through her experience with the drug combo.

There worst nightmare is a strong spirited black person coming out on the side of the drug being a treatment for the virus.

I pray this class action law suit that results will sue for $1B per individual lost. This covers the life potential & the legal fees needed to take on these behemoths.

Also as of the moment of the POTUS Executive order being released, every single online entity that allows comments must be subject to either a free speech platform, OR have every single post/comment be considered a publication that may be sued for defamation, slander & sedition.

RICO all of this shit i'm so tired of it. Freedom of speech was meant to hold Truth above all else. Now we find ourselves in a situation where a select few institutions are allowed to decide what the Truth is or what Truth is allowed to be told. HCQ is just a microcosm of what's been happening around the country since Trump began his campaign.
