Well the vehicle insurance claim of “save 50%” or more is different. It’s a truth that’s very misleading. Because of course anyone who gets a higher quote won’t switch, and even those that get a slightly lower quote probably don’t want to deal with the hassles of switching and loss of benefits tenure gets you at most insurance.

So the only people that switch are people that save a lot of money. So the average is true but it’s biased towards people who say a lot of money.

They probably couldn’t even advertise savings if they just said the average quote difference, because they are probably equal most of the time, that’s why it’s only savings of those who make the switch.
