The hoax investigation has already been exposed. It's all public and out there. Nadler has nothing to hide behind except empty words and accusations that have been debunked. Before this whole sham fell flat, there was innuendo. Mystery about what they would find out. Now they're just repeating an old narrative like we're supposed to still feel has merit.
