Yeah some guy said this to me just the other day. There was an awkward silence cause my guess is everyone at the table was right. Then they looked at me but I passed (wifes new friends partner got to be friendly)

I literally can’t hold back my scoff when people say shit like that in front of me. Then depending on who it is, I will either say that’s a ridiculous lie or just shake my head and smile and wave them away when they ask, “Wut?!?”
