I've noticed It's been getting really bad these last couple months, like borderline propaganda. I used Yahoo purely for finance because the UI is actually pretty decent for tracking multiple portfolios but I think this is the last straw. These "journalists" are a joke.
All my local stations did this a couple years ago. They are liberal rags. They were getting BTFO every article by conservative voices. Can’t have people spreading wrongthink.
Everyone needs to take the short survey offered by Yahoo.
I said that I missed the comments. And that every now and then, I added one when the article needed clarification.
It's pretty short. It includes questions like:
Do you miss the comment section?
How often do you comment?
If you comment, why do you comment?
Are you less likely to use Yahoo/read articles if the comment section is not there?
There's a few more questions but you get the idea.

It has gotten much worse since they excluded the comments since they know they can get away with it.
Almost all news sites have removed comments sections in order to create implied consent.
They run blatantly false headlines. They said the McCloskey's brought guns to a protest- total BS.

I took the survey and told them the ONLY reason I visit yahoo is for the comments. Without comment, I'll never visit again.
