See, but that is my point.

It's one thing to hope someone we know wins. It's another to realize WHO can win. Pence doesn't have the charisma despite being a Silver Fox. I personally don't think Don Jr. could get the votes from a likability standpoint. Sure he could get a lot of votes but to win the Masses? I don't think so.

The winner is always the one with the fire. Bush Sr. Clinton, Bush Jr. Obama, Trump, they all had fire and mass appeal. None of these names strike my confidence like Trump. Im concerned.

I like this. I'll have to watch films of her and see if she can win, IMO.

How about Gaetz, Cruz, or even Tucker Carlson? I think they'd all have more charisma/likability than her.

Ivanka is a hard sell

My fear is Niki HALEY. She would do well but to much of a Bush type Republican. I wS hoping the party would get away from those.

Agreed. I want NON-politicians to take office.

Can’t stand her. Don’t trust her. Believe she’s uniparty. That’s all from me.

The problem is, Republicans NEVER "groom" replacements as Dems always do. That name recognition alone allows Dems to take long-held Republican seats.

Even in local elections, this happens. There's a popular, well-known, effective Republican state senator here in upstate NY who's decided not to run for a 10th term (something ELSE Dems never do 😏). Since 2018, when Dems took over both houses in Albany, he said he's tired of the influence NYC continues to have throughout NY, and can no longer buck the Dems.

Unfortunately, there are NO Republicans waiting in the wings to run for his seat, while a number of Dems are already vying for it, with ALL of their names having been "out there" since this senator made his announcement. Of course, at the last minute, the Republicans (our local party sucks) will put a fish up against a well-known Dem, s/he'll lose, and this area will have lost another Republican seat to a Dem who'll be entrenched for YEARS in Albany.

Just like NY's U.S. Senators. Now, they're BOTH Democrats (Schumer and Gillibrand), and they're not going anywhere.

Republicans need to have vocal, identifiable leaders ready to step in and run, if necessary, the way Dems do.

No, Trump Jr.

There is a party shift every 8-12 years. I'm hoping the Dems can find someone non-crazy to win.

Super disagree. The last thing this country needs is another dem right now. We need to continue the movement forward with a return to republican values, less government in our lives, constitutional carry, bringing business home, and morals and values for the family.

Terrible LIBERAL values will destroy all that. Liberalism IS a mental disorder.

There is another possibility. Dems get spanked this year. They decide to get rid of the crazy and move back toward the center.

I'd much rather have an election with 2 sane candidates than 1 sane candidate.

No to Ivanka. Can’t we get a yuge marketing campaign for Sidney Powell? Otherwise I’d be happy with Nunes or Jordan.
