Same for the rioting strategy.

They’re still rioting and supporting it either A) Because they’re pulling all stops out realizing they don’t have anything left (Russiagate Failed, Impeachment Failed, Flynn is about to walk, secret Trump voters, etc.)

or

B) they think they’re winning and there are few remaining patriots that just need some intimidation to submit to them.
