When you live in peak Honk 🤡 World, you have to be able to laugh at the absurdity of it if you want to survive with your sanity somewhat intact.

This is actually good advice for us all, especially for me and I have been ranting all day about how disgusted I am over WuFlu and the mask mandate and the not using HCQ. I need to step back and just laugh at it all, because it is absurd.

I actually have a problem cause I laugh TOO MUCH at absurd shit. It’s my default response to just absolutely bullshit things, and it has contributed sometimes to me having a reputation for being kinda cold. Someone could describe some terrible event and I just can’t help but laugh at how stupid this world is sometimes. How is it that some criminal shoot someone with a gun and then get set free after claiming he didn’t know it was a fucking gun? Every boy knows what a goddamn gun is almost instinctively by age 5-6. Every year I think, “Man, this world can’t get more stupid.” And in a morbidly hilarious fashion, the world exceeds my expectations every goddamn time.

It's impressive isn't it? How it can continue to exceed expectations because it just gets more and more absurd? You must be laughing your way through 2020.

It's a worthy but somewhat futile decision to try and laugh through the Covid. I've tried it and for the most part have managed to not take it to too seriously. However there is still an underlying current of simmering anger at the whole issue that flares up and I hope I don't let loose any angry rants to close friends of mine who take the Covid differently than I. Hope it works for you/all of us.
