This really worries me. The spirit of the argument for Net Neutrality was that the ISPs wouldn’t be allowed to do this, or to throttle you to the point your website is inaccessible. No idea where it stands now. I agree that it shouldn’t be managed by unelected bureaucrats at the FCC, but I believe Congress should pass a law mandating that ISPs must be common carriers to the extent that they can’t turn you away or censor you for free speech, if this isn’t already a law.

Don't quote me but ISPs may be classified as utilities and thus can't cut service unless you are violating the law. Nazis and KKK can't have their power or water shut off just for political ideology. Keep in mind this is Clown World now and new rules may apply!

They'll just "un-bank" you so you cannot pay your ISP. Easy.

Good point, censorship proof money is the answer. Bitcoin as of now is the most secure and most censorship resistant currency in existence. Unless you want to pay your bills in gold and silver.

I wonder if a crypto-currency backed by a precious metal is feasible. I guess the physical reserves would be the attack vector for that.
