Being gay or trans today is more of a career choice than a lifestyle. Its why you see men running around in drag with little or no effort as they aren't actually trans they just do it to get ahead.

Being gay was wildly accepted years ago.

Therein lies the problem with the current trend of making everything gay on TV. At the end of the day, no one sees being out as a gay person as a big deal since it was already not a big deal.

But then they only really do it to piss off conservatives.
