One of my best friends in high school was a lesbian. I remember the day she came out to everyone and all of us were like "OK"🤷🏻‍♀️. I think it offended her that we didn't care and that we pretty much already knew. Our friendship didnt change and no one treated her any differently than before. She also didn't push anything on anyone and never mentioned her sexuality unless telling us she had a girlfriend. Respect goes both ways when it comes to these things. If you make who you sleep with your entire identity thats when you push others away because most people don't want to know what goes on in your bedroom lol
