Is that true though? If Twitter gets rid of trump or trump gets rid of Twitter... Twitter wins the censorship battle. Really you have to keep fighting. Parler isn't ready. It's not nearly as clean (interface and otherwise) as Twitter and I hate Twitter.
I apologize I don't have a source on this, but the scuttlebutt is that Twitter was not doing well before the 2016 election, and that everyone reeeeeeeing on Trump is what caused a surge in their traffic.
With the growing sentiment against Twitter, I think their days are numbered. I see normies all over referring to Twitter as "toxic" because of all the SJWs and cancel culture. Unless Twitter literally reverses course a full 180 degrees to get rid of that, this sentiment will just build and build until people don't think Twitter is fun or cool anymore, and then they'll abandon it for the next most popular platform.
Cultural Marxism is a race to the bottom, a race to who's "most oppressed". It will never get better unless they literally change their entire fundamental worldview. Likely not going to happen. Hundreds of millions of people throughout history have chosen death over changing their worldview. Twitter as a company will "die" as in become irrelevant because the competition is gaining market share.
We're in the midst of Web 3.0. Free speech and/or decentralized and/or self-hosted competition is the next BIG THING. Just like how Web 2.0 led to MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. it's now going back to the consumer having control of their own privacy, not some sketchy data center hosted in the middle of a desert.
All of his post on twitter should just be links to the actual message on Parler. But one draw back of Parler, is you can't view a message unless you create an account.
100%. Not being able to view without an account hampers any scalability to the point of not being serious competition.
Just as with "communities.win" sites each being on a different second level domain hampers our scalability to the point of not being serious competition to reddit.
Tough redpill to swallow but both Parler and TheDonald.win are by definition "controlled opposition". The worst part is it's by CHOICE which means the people running these sites are being "useful idiots".
There are OBVIOUS fixes clear as day and why the people that run these sites won't implement them is INCREDIBLY fishy. They don't compromise the infrastructure of the sites in anyway, as they're both currently centralized and would continue to be centralized.
Exactly. It is said that Trump knows about Parler, if he moves it's over for Twatter. The NPCs won't have anyone else to reeeeee at bigly.

Dot win wasn’t ready. TD ended and dot win got ready reeeeeeal fast.

This may or may not be of help, though it is from 2018: https://www.denverpost.com/2018/02/08/twitter-makes-money-for-first-time/

Nah leave them a wasteland like Myspace. Things move fast in tech.
Wishful thinking.
Big tech is now big corporate and not the amateur days of Myspace.
Just delay crossposts to Twitter by 1 hour. There, I fixed this problem.

This isn't a drawback, it's a critical flaw, imo.

YES!!! This will permanently bury them if they don't fix it. No one will go for that.
Not a draw back, it is a death blow. Normies like me that never made a twatter will never send parler their pii to make an account.
I doubt he could amass 84million followers between now and nov 3rd
Agreed but Twitter has been shadow banning GEOTUS' 84 million followers for awhile now.
if you find out your president got banned? he'll do just fine
The wise general does not give battle when and where the enemy insists on fighting, but where he knows he can win.
I'd rather he fight than abandon the battlefield.
