Possibly. GEOTUS just lobbed the ball straight into Ajit Pai's court, and that man is a level 100 troll. So he can get it done. Then comes enforcement. And that will all depend on how much rot he has within his organization in the form of covert DSA members and globohomo footsoldiers.

It is cutting it close. We will see what Ajit can do.

It all depends on where Pai and the Republican Commissioners are angling to get their next gig. Back in the day, Commissioners' next gig would be a DC law firm specializing in FCC issues, so they could majorly cash out. Nowadays, they're going to the private sector to cash out. The FCC right now is doing all it can to suck Google/Facebook dick in a number of proceedings, where they're obviously spiking the ball - and this is going on in proceedings where issues can be resolved with empirical, scientific testing to determine outcomes. Unless DJT actually got on the phone with Pai, O'Rielly and Carr and knows how they're going to vote, this isn't a done deal. Plus, there's shitloads of career employees there, and they're all unionized Democrats.
