Back in the day, Commissioners' next gig would be a DC law firm specializing in FCC issues, so they could majorly cash out. Nowadays, they're going to the private sector to cash out. The FCC right now is doing all it can to suck Google/Facebook dick in a number of proceedings, where they're obviously spiking the ball - and this is going on in proceedings where issues can be resolved with empirical, scientific testing to determine outcomes. Unless DJT actually got on the phone with Pai, O'Rielly and Carr and knows how they're going to vote, this isn't a done deal. Plus, there's shitloads of career employees there, and they're all unionized Democrats.
