Absolutely not. 230 is necessary for the internet to exist. What needs to be done is to treat companies like what they actually are. 230 applies if you are a platform. But, when you choose what content is allowed and what is not allowed, you're not a platform, you're a publisher. And 230 does NOT apply to publishers.
Censorship has now been accepted as a normal thing now. The steps afterwards is the scary part. People being arrested and jailed or placed under house arrest without a trial or criminal charges. Governments declaring social gatherings illegal. People losing benefits and the ability to buy and sell for disagreeing with the government. Governments manufacturing fake evidence in high profile cases. The list goes on and what comes next will be even scarier than what I listed.
Meanwhile next to nothing is being done. We're being fed speeches and clips that imply something is being done but everything I said is being allowed to continue without any meaningful resistance.
Benefits won't end, it will transition into Universal Basic Income in many places - and bankrupt those places worse than they are now. It won't be blamed as the cause, will be inflated further and enslave all of us with a debt we didn't want.
Resist handouts AT ALL COSTS and become self sufficient. Become a savage from the Brave New World. Move out of city centres if you can..
Journalists should have to pass an ethics bar, and then be disbarred when they fuck up deliberately or pass X number of retractions. Make each retraction come with consequences like a massive fine for the company after X infractions.

Everything you listed is already happening with possible exception of losing benefits, all in the name of covid and mask orders.
