It doesn't even look like Russia has any real desire to steamroll Western Europe like in decades past, so maybe we ought to just bail altogether. Granted, we already have the infrastructure in place in Germany, so it does make sense to stay. But if the Germans are going to be pussies, then perhaps it's time to invest in a modernized joint air and sea base with a country whose interests are more aligned with our own.
We still have ramstein afb in Germany. We are just moving/removing some army troops. We need to be a lot more strategic with location and type of base (Army, AF, or Navy) if we want to keep locations around the world. It does piss me off a little that we play world police and get spit on by France or Germany while doing it. Just like local police departments in democrat run cities
