When I ask them to explain something in their own words without using Google or Wikipedia, they usually do an awful job of it. It’s bullshit. A couple of years ago the union decided to make dues paid dependent on a percentage of your gross earnings instead of the traditional flat rate. So you’re taking the most fair way to do something(“the Union way”) and totally fucking people who work more OT. We have to pay more for the same representation. They say it’s fair because you have more opportunities to screw up and ‘need’ the representation. Go fuck yourself. I come to work, do my job safely and efficiently, and kick ass. I highly doubt I’ll ever need representation. Plus, the union didn’t reach out when my house flooded during a hurricane, pay for a crew to demo damaged structure and remediate all of the mold, and pay for a storage unit to keep all of my shit in during the whole thing.

Here in Vegas the Culinary has such a monopoly that anyone NOT in it basically is blacklisted from work in 60% of the city.

During the Lockdowns, they literally disconnected the phone line and all in person workers disappeared so all laid off casino workers (who still have to pay them) were left to fend for themselves.
Texas is oil country, yet leads the nation in renewable energy, meanwhile California builds a "solar" power plant that runs on natural gas. Liberalism is a mental disorder.
If the left was so concerned about the climate, they would be building nuclear plants around the country. It is by far the most efficient method of energy production. Solar and wind are a farce, taking up vast swaths of beautiful land, providing inconsistent energy production, and having poor means of storage. The left doesn't want to solve the "climate crisis", they want a feeling of moral superiority at the expense of the entire economy.
California shut down 2 of the 3 nuke plants in the state. The remaining one, Diablo Canyon, produces 23% of the states clean energy, a total of I think 10% of the states total energy.
Nuclear plants are exorbitantly expensive to build even though long term cost per MW is cheap.
New renewable sites are combing wind solar and battery to smooth out power generation and you can build those at a fraction of the price of a nuke plant.
Not to mention new gas powered peaker units can go from 0 to generating power within 5 minutes. You’d only use those as emergency backup to plug in energy shortfalls when there is a spike in demand or the renewable sites are out of energy.
Not a big fan of all the money printing, but other than that I think we're headed in the right direction. I would like to see government spending slashed, across the board, next. Make Capitalism Great Again.
Cut ALL federal spending to dem states and welfare payments. If you didn't have to directly pay some sort of tax for the program (like social security, medicare etc.) then slash that shit. Keep food stamps but that's it.
It's not surprising then that the MSM is claiming in their recent polls (July 29, 2020) that Sniffing Joe is beating Trump in Texas. When I have heard this claim before, I wonder?

Living in Texas. Having to renew my electricity contract. Annoyed I might have to more than 8 cents / kwhour. Keep our house at 72 all year....summer electric bill in 100* weather is about $230.
Amazons green commercial is total fiction. The new warehouse in west Fort Worth requires 100 charging stations that the grid cannot handle. So they are redoing the grid. Green bullshit.
