If these hellhole leftist cities want to have endless riots, I say let them burn.
Why should Trump help out these cities, states in any way.

Probably the #1 gain was information. Collecting phone numbers, figuring out who the leaders are, tracing them after they leave.
Another gain is that the violent mob was focused the courthouse instead of on other things.
It put an end to the blackpilled on our side who saw consequences for lawlessness.
It will over time put the fear of God in the young idiots rioting- when they see consequences for others, which may help in the long run.
It proved the "peaceful protest" meme to be a lie.
It caused democrats and media (i know, its redundant) to vocally support the rioting they also claimed wasn't happening.
It makes the mayors and governers look weak and cowardly, for failing to take on the riots themselves.
All of that without the bad optics the dems wanted. No massive National Guard Response, no taking over cities with "martial law" (like baltimore after freddy gray). And now, with mayors and govs pushing out the feds, they own the mess completely with no way out, because they are afraid of their own constituents- the rioters.

Yes. Partisans blame Trump for riots whether or not he intervenes. However Trump is positioned as force for law and order to the Normies.

There's too much in the courthouse to just let it burn. I'd wager portland federal has major investigations into antifag. antifag has been in the PNW for a long time.
I live in Oregon, far away from Portland.
From the sentiment I am seeing on local social media, and in person at work and around town...Trump might win Oregon because of Commie Kate's inability to handle Chinavirus, and her continued ignoring of the riots to talk about schools staying closed and mask mandates.
Even the moderates and liberals I know are fed up, seeing Trump as the only guy doing anything about the destruction was kind of a big wake up call.
