“You can't have it both ways," a former NBA employee said. "... You can't be over here in February promoting Black History Month and be over in China, where they're in reeducation camps and all the people that you're partnering with are hitting kids."
The NBA brought in elite coaches and athletic trainers with experience in the G League and Division I basketball to work at the academies. One former coach described watching a Chinese coach fire a ball into a young player's face at point-blank range and then "kick him in the gut."
This sentence from the ESPN story nearly knocked me on my ass...
The ESPN investigation, which began after Morey's tweet, sheds new light on the lucrative NBA-China relationship and the costs of doing business with a government that suppresses free expression and is accused of cultural genocide.
@NBA finally replies to me. Won’t criticize #China and won’t commit to protecting employees who criticize #China. Says it’s all “hypothetical.” Uh, remember Daryl Morey?
NBA’s refusal to condemn China at all is glaring. Even in this story when confronted with horrific human rights abuses NBA dodged any criticism of China. League is full of hypocrites.
Remind me someone what approved slogans will NBA players be wearing on their jerseys & do these messages extend to humans living under rule of the CCP?

What I find most interesting about the Uyghur issue is that nobody calls them Muslims.
When Tucker shows footage he calls them "ethnic minorities" because that generates more sympathy. The Left doesn't mention them at all.
A Disney affiliate. Reporting this.
I'm actually surprised, but seriously fuck the NBA!
There is their pre-season "We're honest reporters" piece. With the season re-starting soon, it will never be mentioned again.

"If you can't dodge wrenches, you can't dodge balls!"
"...Now get in the gas chamber!"
ESPN did this? Did someone hack them?
Yeah this makes no sense to me, what is going on? Is the day of reckoning really coming? Trying to get on the right side of things before then?
Get woke, go broke
