Malcolm X said that the black man was simply a pawn in the real war white liberals waged on conservatives. He reasoned that really, liberals just adopt whatever policy or position they think will help them destroy the conservatives. He likened conservatives in his day to wolves—they showed blacks their teeth and said “we want to eat you.” But he compared white liberals to foxes who would also snarl their teeth at the black community, but would always insist that they were just smiling. In any case, he saw right through the left: they don’t care about “black lives”...they care about destroying us.
I actually like Malcolm X to a certain degree. Not everything of course...there’s a lot to take issue with...but at least he wasn’t one of these mushy types with no coherence of thought.
