At 2:10 in the video, he mentions how Trump is vulgar. (Ok fair enough).
But then Shapiro mentions that "Romney is the epitome of class and moderation".
I stopped listening.
Yeah that's his style. He was saying that in a mocking way. I used to listen to Shapiro every day a couple of years ago, but I got tired of his nevertrumpism and his neocon nonsense.
Even a broken cuck errr I mean clock is right twice a day. I like some of his thinking, but he just lacks wisdom or experience, however you want to define what used to be called gravitas.
When the bullets start flying he's going to be hiding under a desk crying. Fucking Mittens? Really go slap some sense into yourself Ben.
Jews have been mistreated, however the only path for all of us to preserve freedom for the Republic is to put America first. This is a time for Patriots.
I like Shapiro. He is one of these rare guys who stick to their guns, no matter what. He has a huge following and is quite influential. He will vote for Trump in November and recommends the same to his listeners. At the same time, he reserves the right to criticize the president when he believes criticism is due. That is not bad. Everyone of us - including Donald Trump - is well advised to listen to our critics. Ben Shapiro is never nasty or hateful. He tries to make his case as good as he can. This earns my respect, even if I don't always agree with him.
I don't hate criticism of Trump. This is why I can listen to a lot of other content creators like Tim Pool, Styx, Razorfist, America Uncovered, Crowder, etc.
Even Paul Joseph Watson criticizes Trump for his tweets.
For me personally, there is a difference between criticism and injecting NeverTrumpism.
When I listen to Shapiro, I get the sense that he does not just stop at criticism, he slowly tries to convert listeners to be NeverTrumpers down the line.
In that clip, if Shapiro criticized Trump and stopped at that, it is fine. But the dropping and contrasting with Romney unnecessarily is a mind injection that to me feels the same way how news readers inject TDS into their news.
It's a shame because Shapiro has intellect to break down things really well.
I listened to the whole 50 minutes of today's podcast from which this clip is taken.
Stunning, that you believe that Shapiro criticized Trump and stopped at it. That's simply not true. The whole show summarized in one simple sentence: Democrats in Congress are hateful morons!
What I mean is that in that criticism at Trump, if Shapiro stopped at that and did not inject Romney, it would have been fine.
I eventually listened to the whole vid as well, and I don't think he criticized Trump as a whole. Overall, a good vid.
I do listen to Shapiro at times to mine for useful arguments to use in my political discussions.
But I listen to him WARY that he is a NeverTrumper and ignore the subtle injections he uses.
He uses Romney as a foil of failure to explain why Republicans are voting for Trump. Romney is a loser, Republicans recognized that and decided they needed someone who is the opposite. Where Romney is a polite and meek loser, Trump is brash and aggressive winner. Romney is being held up as an example of what doesn't win.
I listen to him daily, but my chief gripe with him is how blind to how his brand of traditional conservatism is exactly why conservatives have been losing for 30 years. He is the reason for Trump. But he's too clueless to give up his safety blanket of an ideology.
Ben is a neocon edge-lord. He has to come out and be different no matter what. If his take is wrong he will keep maintaining its true, because his pride won’t allow him to admit otherwise.
He acts like he is principled, but definitely isn’t.
He said for YEARS despite Bongino educating him and all the evidence present that Russian collusion was a hoax that he needed to see the evidence and the Mueller probe be completed. To re-iterate, he said we didn’t have enough evidence to make a conclusion.
When it came to the Stormy allegations against Trump, not once did he ask for evidence, he acted like it was 100% true without giving it a second thought.
I stopped listening to him awhile ago but did he ever recant on his tariff position where he said it was going to be awful and horrible only to get stumped by Trump? I doubt it.
Exactly. He WANTS President Trump to win and compliments him when he feels he deserves it but he obviously has issues with the President's personality which some will. That's perfectly fine. My parents don't like the President. They think he's just a cocky douche and haven't and don't care to see the other sides of him. But will still vote for him most likely.
The guy didn't vote for Trump in 2016. I would love to see the clip of him saying he will vote for Trump in 2020.
Ben Shapiro was nasty and hateful towards Corey Lewandowski. He white-knighted for Michelle Fields and called for Corey to be destroyed. Shapiro never apologized to Corey after videotape came out disproving what Fields alleged.
Still don't like Shapiro.
But to be fair, I did replay that 2x so I can see what you're saying.
He speaks fast and the delivery is not that good.
I also find the name dropping of Romney a bit unnecessary.
It is a good vid nonetheless.
I cannot stand Shapiro.
At 2:10 in the video, he mentions how Trump is vulgar. (Ok fair enough). But then Shapiro mentions that "Romney is the epitome of class and moderation". I stopped listening.
He sounded a bit sarcastic when he was saying that.
Yeah that's his style. He was saying that in a mocking way. I used to listen to Shapiro every day a couple of years ago, but I got tired of his nevertrumpism and his neocon nonsense.
He's voting trump
He’s voting Trump until 9 days before the election when he becomes utterly disgusted at what Trump said or did for the 800th time.
Beware of those on the right that are allowed to trend and promoted by YouTube.
I have trouble digesting the words coming out of that rapid fire mouth of his
I have to watch him at 3/4 speed just to comprehend...
he was, he was making a sarastic portrayal of how Democrats view Trump and viewed Romney when he ran.
He would watch America burn and not give a shit if the Jews were left alone. He's a tribal dude.
Jews have been mistreated, however the only path for all of us to preserve freedom for the Republic is to put America first. This is a time for Patriots.
This is why The Donald is always Win.
Way to stomp on the tera pede.

That's just me, I guess.
I listened to the whole 50 minutes of today's podcast from which this clip is taken.

He can't help but to be sneaky and underhanded.
It's the little beanie that makes him do it.
He uses Romney as a foil of failure to explain why Republicans are voting for Trump. Romney is a loser, Republicans recognized that and decided they needed someone who is the opposite. Nope, he's a turbocuck and a screeching little SJW loser.
Look up the Michelle Fields incident, and you'll see that he believes facts care about his precious feefees.
He’s been so bad lately. His interview with Rogan was enraging.
Ben is a neocon edge-lord. He has to come out and be different no matter what. If his take is wrong he will keep maintaining its true, because his pride won’t allow him to admit otherwise.

When a guy can perform like trump you gotta let it go. Now if was di nothing Pelosi, different story
Exactly!
Good. Shapiro. Crowder. Gutfield. Trump is winning a lot of these NeverTrump votes.
What did Rogan say?
He's mentioned a couple of times that he wants the President to win.
Yeah so he can keep screeching about orange man bad.
Yup he picked around the perimeter of trumps campaign.
he was making a sarcastic portrayal of how Democrats view DJT and Romney when he ran.
ok. maybe hearing Mittens name is just a trigger word for me.
He wasn't referring to Mittens that way. He was speaking as somebody else observing Trump/Romney to make a point.
Still don't like Shapiro. But to be fair, I did replay that 2x so I can see what you're saying. He speaks fast and the delivery is not that good. I also find the name dropping of Romney a bit unnecessary. It is a good vid nonetheless.
