I travel quite often and go to some interesting places for 1-2 years at a time. Poland is high on my list.
It’s worth it. I spend most of my time in Poland south of Wrocław near the Czech border. It’s great for winter sports and mountain biking I go out there about 3 times a year.
Yeah, if I ever have to flee the USA, I'm headed to Poland. Maybe Czech Republic as they contemplate a "2nd Amendment" on a national referendum.

Poland is historically VERY contested territory, laying between two (former) major powers. Imagine if China started building bases in Mexico; we would not be cool with it at all...

Honestly, I don't agree. We're a lot closer to having a normalized allied relationship with Russia, than we are to war. And it wouldn't matter anyway.
