I already commented on this above, but Dr. Zelenko, who developed the protocol for HCQ + zinc + AZT, has a Plan B for where HCQ is not available--substitute with quercetin. Both are zinc ionophores, but quercetin is available over the counter as a supplement https://mobile.twitter.com/YKnot74/status/1284917967654801408

This isn't going to work, unfortunately. I don't think he has actually tried this on patients.

The half-life of quercetin in humans is about 12 hours. Compare that to the half-life of HCQ which is about 3 weeks. The reason HCQ works so well is that it takes it a long time to go away, so you very quickly build up serum levels that fight off the virus in as little as one dose and it stays there through the entire lifespan of the disease. You take it for five days, but it really only takes that first big dose to do the job.

With Quercetin, the serum levels would fall rapidly and you would need to take it every 4 hours or so, including through the night, to have it do any good. I suppose it's possible, but it's not realistic.

I upvoted you because I saved your comment as it's very valuable to me.

But to reply, if I were sick and were having trouble breathing (or thought it might go that way) and could only get quercetin, I'd take it every four hours including overnight. This year I was sick and took vitamin C every half hour and sometimes every 15 minutes while I was awake.

Edit: quercetin and zinc
