You have to ask the question why. Why does Google want Jordan victorious? Why would they donate money to him? They are very liberal why would they give money to anyone who is on our side? It doesn't add up, at the very least people need to fully investigate that. Because I am not comfortable with anybody on our side taking a single dollar from an arm of the deep state! THEY DON'T DONATE FOR NOTHING! THERE IS ALWAYS A BACKROOM DEAL!
11K is a drop in the bucket for Google.
Imagine if you are Google, and you want to entice politicians, you'd give them some money too, whether or not they commit to your interests.
It can also poison the well and sow distrust among Republicans.
There's so many possible scenarios.
I am not discounting your skepticism. Jim Jordan may turn out to be beholden to Google. But I'll reserve that judgement until I see it happening.
I have been involved in donation both personal and corporate and it is about access and having your side heard. You hold a fund raiser and you get 30 minutes at the event to push for support for something that both Dems and Reps agree on.
This is very normal and nothing to be ashamed of.
Example, we are on the board of a not for profit that cares for the multiple handicap. If you have one handicap you can get help, housing and such but a place for the blind will not take someone that has MS also and is deaf. We needed support to help get some Fed and Local funding for our homes and to pass laws that allow certain kinds of contributions to be tax free and allow use of certain type of government funds. We needed Dems and Reps to vote for it.

They don't want him to win. They are hedging their bets in case he wins. They donate to everyone.
