I actually don't want my doctor making medical decisions for me either.
I want to make my own medical decisions based on the advice of a doctor who I can trust not to politically or financially motivated to lie to me. That unfortunately isn't the case right now. A lot of people have very little faith in he integrity of our healthcare professionals right now, and that's a huge problem.
