As I stand on the edge of the shore, overlooking this vast foggy sea, numbing myself into sweet complacency. I sometimes wonder how things have gotten so awry in this terrible year of our Lord 2020. People are under pressure like never before, everyone’s strengths and weaknesses are in full display as psychologically this is what happens when a population is put into a “fear” state, it’s the same as a fight or flight reflex, overusing their threat centers on “abstract” or “perceived” threats. Whereas in a natural environment the threats would be real and tangible, unlike our current reality where threats are contrived and manipulated through media and politics. The threats are no longer an animal is trying to kill me, the threats are a republican is trying to kill me. Our intelligence or instincts based on survival mechanisms over thousands possibly tens of thousands of years are being used against us in a way that is divisive and only leads to yielding more power to our leaders while they squander our wealth and squash our collective knowledge in order to make business deals with countries halfway around the globe that could give two shits about Americans prosperity.
