Welcome to the club, I moved 6 hours north of Bay area where I grew to Trinity country to get away from these crazy people... I still live in California but nowni have my own farm with a permited 100ftx20 legal hoop house. Now I'm just hoping for The state of Jefferson finally gets get created. Look it up if you don't know about it

Yup--live in Butte County---also the State of Jefferson around here...There was a great book written in the 30s titled Five Acres and Independence. Covers most things you need to know. An excellent resource.
